Personally I find the short, tik Tok length content annoying, and I find that I get really stressed out if I watch more than a couple of them. But I like actual vlogs that are 8-25 minutes in length. It feels like you see the real vlogger's personality.
The title had me worried for a bit. I personally like vlogs because they offer a more relatable intimate setting. Not everyone has Tiktok or Instagram , so it’s nice you still use RUclips to post new content . We understand that you have to do what’s best for your business and yourself.

It seems like a lot of people who are “creating content” are feeling burnt out lately and that can be seen through the “content”. So ultimately just do you and please yourself and your family, content creators compare themselves to others and try to do what everyone else is doing, it’s not necessary. Just be With Love, Leena... all your hundred thousands subscribers are still gonna love it no matter what shape or form your content comes in.
If you feel that you need a break, please do take it. It will not make you irrelevant and your subscribers and followers won't leave you. Your life, your family, and your health are so much more important than the content we consume (not that we don't love it!). I'm personally a fan of vlogs over short content but in the end, it's whatever you love to do.
Some food for thought: I feel like I don't "know" any TikTok creators. I don't feel close to them, I don't feel the need to even remember their names or what's going on in their lives because the content is just too short to have that connection. If you asked me who my favorite tiktoker was, I wouldn't be able to answer because I literally don't have the attention span to remember who they even are. But I feel like I have a much better connection to RUclipsrs specifically because of the longer form content. Obviously this means different things to different people. Some people don't care for that connection, some do. Some people feel better suited for short, quick content, and others don't. Ultimately, it's up to you and how you want your career to go.
I’m more of a vlog person. I watch your vlogs back to back if I miss them.. and also watch reels sometimes. Meanwhile Alaina is so busy playing with makeup that’s super cute ❤️🤗
There are definitely some creators that are more suited for TikTok style content and I could watch their TikToks for days, but then when I watch their RUclips channels, I nearly fall asleep. But with your channel, I look forward to watching your vlogs way more because I get to see your personality more and feel more connected than the quick stories and TikToks allow for. Especially with all of the exciting things coming up like designing your new home, I would selfishly loveee if you kept making vlogs! But of course, you are a boss mama with many responsibilities and you do whatever is best for you, we will always be here supporting! :) ❤️
I don’t have tik tok. I watch RUclips and IG. I do love the vlogs but I also understand it takes a lot of time and energy. Whatever you do I will continue to watch you however I can. I love that you eat a breakfast that embraces your culture. It’s so important to keep those cultural foods you grew up eating.

To be honest I love vlogs !!! Tiktok is nice for fun and entertaining content with music but vlogs are so much more interesting. It feels more personal, we get to see more of you. It make us feel closer and more connected to you.. ( I never watch shorts and RUclips stories... I rather follow someone on Instagram, it's all there anyway) If I had to choose I would watch vlogs over any other video content (reels, IGTV, tiktok, ect..)

Here is my free advice it’s out my consulting fee 😂 Where to spend the most time? All depends on your market. As you are now entering another phase in your life by building your house, the content will be for a more madure audience that is established and probably already has a family. I personally don’t do tiktok just because I think that my time is very valuable. I watch RUclips to learn on how other do things while probably doing another task at home.

Personally I think you have outgrown the kitchy RUclipsr thing and sometimes are oversharing your time, you may have crossed over to entrepreneur status where you can develop your own business regarding design and style, and work for yourself 100% and do smaller shares of your life. The value of your content was never driven by these ppl, it was something unique about your own personal life and ways of doing things.

I enjoy the vlogs sooo much, it is probably my most favorite content from you! Followed by other types of youtube uploads (hauls, etc). I dont enjoy tiktok, reels, or shorts to be honest it just seems like spam to me, and the clips are so short I instantly forget them. Whereas with vlogs, I feel more of a connection

Here is my free advice it’s out my consulting fee 😂 Where to spend the most time? All depends on your market. As you are now entering another phase in your life by building your house, the content will be for a more madure audience that is established and probably already has a family. I personally don’t do tiktok just because I think that my time is very valuable. I watch RUclips to learn on how other do things while probably doing another task at home.

I LOVE long form content from ppl I actually like listening to like YOU. It’s like spending time with a friend. Short form always feels empty and attention-grabby. Entertaining but there’s no connection. Your brand was built on connecting with us. Ive learned from your long form content as well. Honestly, I use to watch so many different vloggers on RUclips and in this last year I don't even know when the switch happened but tik Tok has taken over and I find myself there more. But I still love RUclips and the longer videos, but tik Tok is definitely what I spend most of my time on. Goodluck Leena xx

Personally I think you have outgrown the kitchy RUclipsr thing and sometimes are oversharing your time, you may have crossed over to entrepreneur status where you can develop your own business regarding design and style, and work for yourself 100% and do smaller shares of your life. The value of your content was never driven by these ppl, it was something unique about your own personal life and ways of doing things.

When I'm cooking etc(mum duties ;) I prefer watching a vlog like this - I play it in the background while I get things done! My time has become more valuable as I've gotten older!
