in Bukhari and Muslim we find a hadeeth, "Whoever introduces INTO our RELIGION that which is not FROM it then it is rejected.".
Also, Qur'an and Sunnah don't give a list of things which are halal, they give a list of things which are haram, everything else is halal.
Bid'ah only applies when you add things to religion, for example, if the sunnah is to do 2 rakat sunnah after fajr, and you say, you know iwant to pray 8 rakat because u feel like it. Praying 8 rakat would be a bid'ah because rasulallah saw never did that. A video is not part of religion, so it doesn't matter whether rasulallah saw did it or not.
@Mr T: and do you know that speaking untruthful about Islam is a big sin? may Allah forgive you, for giving fatwa without beeing justified and guide you to the right path. your statement is wrong and i am not going to discuss this, because you and me don't have common basis. please just take this advise and learn about your deen. strange times we are in: people talking about big words like "salaf" and don't even do their homework. may Allah (t'a) forgive my harsh words, i just can't hold myself, when i read stuff like this. may Allah bless Murtaza Khan and you and me. as salamu aleykum wa rahmatullahi wa barrekatuhu.

brother im sure there is a hadith that states if a believer calls another muslim a kafir then he is a kafir himself, sort yourself out, celebrating the prophets birthday is not a fardth of islam and i do not want to start the debate about whether it is halaal or not.
A madrasa is not a bid'ah because it is not adding anything to the religion. If I say if you don't go to the madrasa then you are a mushrik or that you have sinned,then that becomes a part of the religion. @Talibansarewahabbis

salam, this brother claims to follow the salaf, but does he know that doing the jummah khutba in another language aside from arabic is bid'ah in itself
Why would he do the Khutba in Arabic and no one understands? It's beneficial to do in English
