Exo: WE 3 were in ur kitchen this morning, waiting for YOU to have a new video (& to eat breakfast you were making). & you never showed up!🤷♂️🤪🤦♀️!!! Lmao!
Got mine 2 weeks ago. Put wheels with weights, tires, servos with arms and high clearance links that weren't designed for it but they work. Much better crawler than my Ridgerock.
Loving my Ridgerunner but trying to keep it on a budget seeing as the low price on a rig with MOA and rear dig was the main reason for buying it. I swapped the wheels tires and removed the springs like Exocaged and it is way better. Moved the body back 1/2" on the frame and trimmed the bumpers. Pretty damn great now. On 3s the speed and punch are great. So, the remaining problem is the way the truck jumps when I switch from rev to forward and try to ease into slow crawl. This truck would be "The Bomb" if I could get past that for cheap (Replacing the esc and radio is not cheap and then I lose the rear dig, so no go). Some clever electronic hack with a capacitor and cheap circuit board??? Hoping one of you electronics wizards has a solution.
Mine started the jump after I put a ZEE 5200 lipo in it. Definitely needs stickier tires. I shaved the hangy upper bumpers too. Gonna try a 3s too. BUT for the money…….
The axles are pretty chunky because of the transmission, so portals probably only barely make up for that. Maybe put some taller tires? I have a ridge rock with cheap Amazon servos that helped a bunch. Even with smaller tires and portals this truck seems to struggle more, I wonder if they changed the gear ratios?

Technically that right should crawl very good…most of the weight down low and with 4ws…..a few more nice upgrades like a couple better motors/esc and such..
So my ridge runner rear steering likes to walk out by themselves, when in front steering only engaged and when I turn the rear likes to help turn without changing to all wheel steering idk what’s going on it’s brand new
Hey how are you? I have the same truck as you do and I’ve done some mods of my own on this truck, and I have the same problem as you do. It jumps forward when I take off or give it throttle. What do you recommend to stop that jerky shit. I have bought new tires and rbeadlock wheel, I replaced the 4 link plastic bars to bent on one side of them aluminum ones for more clearance. I got new water proof servos, oh and I got a new bumper and warn winch for it, man I love that winch, it will drag me up anything, if you ever want to get a winch I highly recommend it. It’s the best thing I’ve bought for this truck since the wheels I got for it.
If you take the time with this as you do with other trucks, it will be fine. You don't spend enough time on the Accent and hope you spend a little more time on this one. These are the trucks most can afford.
With all do respect brother. Love the channel. But occasionally I think to myself, and Francis included, what do all yall get out of this when companies send you junk, and you know it's junk, but wow change the tires, esc, all the links, move the battery, change shocks and all of a sudden 500 bucks later that 160 dollar truck sure is great.
You are exactly correct in the esc being a weak point on this rig. I run mine on 3s and im experiencing extreme heat and an even jumpier throttle. It has an undersized heat sink and really isnt danchees best esc offering. I have a hobbywing 880 ready to go in when i finally manage to smoke the factory unit. This also gives the opportunity to go independent rear steer on another knob which is a game changer for slow crawling. Cant wait to see what you do.
Tires are always the first upgrade in RC Crawlers. Only Traxxas TRX-4 have good stock tires, except for the foam durability.. too hard as you buy... too soft to last more than a few hours...
Redcat really couldnt have done better on their last couple body designs? Their awful. Not going to help sales on them thats for sure. Immediately have to change the body, ESC, motors, servos, shocks, wheels/tires.....is it really cheap after all of that?
Redcat is really doing the crawler community and newbies some good work. Their not perfect, but they're affordable and fun.

And I trimmed off the bumpers
yo what links did you use? also did you replace plastic tie rods?

I am new to RC but I had the same comments about livening the response on this, I can wait to see what you end up doing to this

Mine has that jump right out the box. It seems to do it when switching between forward / reverse.

Not sure about thus one Joe. Makes me question how much you can change or upgrade till its no longer what it is? just wondering......................
Holy dang late post. Was starting to worry. Normally up when I get up in the morning not late afternoon. Hope all is good

Do you have a link? I was thinking about the same

👋🦁 impressive stuff from #REDCAT.
Why do i instantly want to chop it apart... the MOA' seem like they could be fun on a lot of custom rigs. Low cost custom rigs. #good #stuff

👍😁😎✌️
That rear bumper needs to go. Maybe even trim the whole body and lower it
Nice 👍🏾
Trim up the body, drop in a pair of 1200 fusion se, and a good radio
Nice , I just got the Enduro 12 Ecto for 189 bucks and it's awesome

😂 thing is pretty cool sometimes you get more with less when it comes to satisfaction in this hobby
Yeah they get crazy hot on 3s, I ended up mounting a 30mm fan to mine. Probably go with dual 1080's soon
...and you can go 4s👍
What wheels are those buddy
can you build a micro crawler course please 👍 would be extremely interesting 😎

Try to lower it next time. Would like to see how low you can get it
To top heavy
Most women are, lol
Seems like everything we used to expect from Redcat. Does everything an AX24 does for the same price.
Just don't like that the front and rearends are not together 😒 🙄.

Always a complainer, lets see you do better with your own R/C company then.
