Why does nearly every RUclipsr think that the metal is doing in Wolverine in Logan, it can never cause his healing factor to slow, it was the treatment the company put into the water supply that stopped his healing factor... Jesus bro get your facts straight.
It’s poisoning him. In the Marvel Comics, Wolverine first shows signs of advanced adamantium poisoning in X-Men (1991) #99, written by Alan Davis, Terry Kavanagh, and Brett Booth. In the issue, Wolverine becomes visibly ill as the X-Men come to terms with losing their powers. he is constantly being healed from adamantium poisoning. Which is exactly what causes his healing factor to fail and him to die in the old man Logan comic.
@@mikalfatale so his healing factor said "oh I draw the line at metal I quit"? even if it was poisoning him, it wouldn't slow or stop his healing factor. There was video done on Wolverine's healing factor caused by genetic mutation like other mutants, his cells would still go through replication, however there could be another mutation, and the mutation is what could change the rules of his healing factor, potentially causing him not to heal anymore. @@RYLIK_89mate, you can dislike it all you want. But that is the canon in the main continuity. Your head canon can be whatever you want, and a writer might come along in the future and retcon it. Wolverine in logan is not dying because of his skeleton, it's because of the things they're putting in the food to suppress mutant genes. Also, Wolverine did get ripped in 2 by the hulk
I just realized that Wolverine should be HIGHLY Radioactive! His skeleton is made of metal which means after being subjected to a nuke, it would be practically glowing and he would be in constant agony from the radiation sickness as well as being a serious hazard to anyone nearby!
@@4100jay lol man i havent heard "hella" in a while! but my point is more that, this is one thing his healing CANT fix. he cant heal the metal on his bones because its not a part of his actual body and the metal becoming irradiated would make it radioactive. Radioactive materials take potentially thousands of years to become safe or on the lower end, it takes several hundred years (think of Chernobyl in Russia).
the reason wolverines healing factor is weaker its because the adamantium covered his bones((our bone marrow is responsible for releasing blood cells into the bloodstream when they are mature and when required. Without bone marrow, our bodies could not produce the white cells we need to fight infection, the red blood cells we need to carry oxygen, and the platelets we need to stop bleeding)) and also its constantly regenerating from adamantium poisoning.
One thing that people who've never read Deadpool at all or much, always get wrong is that him being able to talk when he's had his head removed, is that it's not his healing factor that enables him to still function, it's that he got cursed by Thanos to not be able to die. All that his healing factor does in decapitation instances, is make it so that once reattached, it seals itself back together. And as for Wolverine healing himself back from a single drop of blood, that wasn't his healing factor, it was the M'Kram crystal (i know its spelled wrong, but I'm not about to reread it or go looking online for the proper name), that saw whom he is and decided that he was worthy of it's powers, making him a god able to do anything, and with that power he revived/reformed the other X-men, and gave up the power due to knowing he didn't need, bor deserve it.
Kratos vs Wonder Woman? Is that a joke? Are you saying If wonder woman is able to beat kratos... You think she could defeat all the gods of Olympus like kratos has, and all the gods in the Norse mythology games?
I always thought the key to Wolverine's healing factor was the adamantium skeleton itself. Basically, without the adamantium, he could actually get killed by being torn to pieces. But because of the adamantium skeleton, his bones (and his brain inside the skull) will always be safe so he can always just heal up as long as the skeleton remains. And with adamantium being nigh indestructible, his skeleton WILL remain 99% of the time. That's just what I always assumed tho. I thought Wolverine's healing would be much weaker without the adamantium or rather his healing could get "out-damaged" without it.
No, his healing factor is his core mutant ability. It's why when classifying him as a mutant. You have seen him classified amongst the top 3 classes Omega, Alpha, and Beta. The fact that he has adamantium in him. It suppresses his healing factor's full potential and ability. Which would be at the Omega level along with his other heightened abilities.
Doesn't deadpool have a curse on him so he can't die and see lady death? How much is the actual healing factor and how much is the curse that won't let him die?
Can adamantium be bent, with enough force? I've not read every comic ever written, so I don't know if it's ever come up. We all know that adamantium is "practically" indestructible. But it's not entirely; every element has its point. Theoretically, if a hulk, or a vibranium wrecking ball, or some huge force hit Wolverine's skeleton just right, it could BEND his arm, or DENT his skull? And his bones may be able to heal, but because the metal isn't part of him, that bent bit would stay bent. Unless some force were applied in the opposite direction, which would be even more massive trauma. Another question I've had is: does the adamantium "cover" his skeleton, or is it INFUSED into his skeleton? Because, like, a micron-thick layer- or even a millimeter-thick layer- of even a very strong metal is not going to be that strong. But if the metal is actually infused into the spaces of his bones, between the cells, all the way through the living tissue: there's some strength there. On the other hand, if that were the case, how could those bones continue to thrive? Bones are living tissue too; they need blood flow and nutrients; they can heal from damage. Theoretically, Logan should be riddled with arthritis, as his bones attempt to calcify over the foreign substance. But arthritis isn't "healthy," so that's the cause of the conundrum in his healing factor? Yet another question: if his bone claws are knobby pointy cylinders, why are his adamantium claws thin sharp smooth blades? Has that ever been addressed in canon? And lastly: it's fiction. It's fantasy. It's something cool to drive the plot, and too much logic applied ruins the illusion. So really, none of this discussion ultimately matters. It's an interesting academic exercise, but I sure don't subscribe too strongly to any fan theory, or try too hard to make science work for real. Fantasy doesn't need it to be enjoyed; just have fun. :)
Hit-Girl (Kick-Ass films) VS Yelena Belova (MCU) Two young girls who have no powers but are still very good at assassinating people. Who's the deadliest of the two?
I think it would make a huge difference if we are talking Logan with or without adamantium. Without adamantium, Logans unfettered healing factor is off the charts, but he loses the benefit of both being unbreakable and his claws being able to cut just about damn near anything. The other interesting tradeoff here is that the loss of all that added weight from the adamantium would make Logan much, much faster and more agile than he already is (and the dude is by no means slow as it is). Lastly, its been suggested that Logan is, or would be, in a state of continuous evolution. His mutant gene would be in a constant state of progression if it weren't for the adamantium interfering with his healing factor/biological processes. I'm not sure if this last part is canon, but it definitely is an interesting idea to think about. What could Logan become in another say 100-200 years if his mutation continued to evolve and progress without the adamantium holding him back?
I'd say they're actually evenly matched. Wolverine has the adamantium slowing down his healing factor, meanwhile, Deadpool has super cancer slowly winning out against his own. There was a whole series of comics where DP had to obtain some of Hulk's blood to supplement his own against the cancer. So, if we're talking about who has the best healing factor, the answer is clear. Hulk wins. Wolvie and DP are both evenly matched.
Also weird how no one can pull wolverine apart. His bones aren’t connected by adamantium only covered in it. The soft tissue between the bones is still soft tissue and only as strong as a normal person. Hence why he still takes bullet damage but regenerates.
I think that was explained by the adamantium in his skeleton combining with his healing factor, which altered the metal into adamantium-B; a more organic form of adamantium. The Adamantium-B coated his tendons, connective tissues, etc. so because of that, his bones actually are connected by adamantium. The tissues must still be flexible though, rather than rigid metal, Different properties I guess? I may not be 100% correct on this, that’s just what I’m remembering.
When disintegrated to a drop a blood he should regenerate with bone claws given adamantium isn’t his anatomy also when regenerating a limb that limb should have no adamantium
So if either one of them can regenerate from a drop of blood, if there were several drops of blood would they all regenerate into multiple copies of each?
Actually there is one. If you read my comment you’ll understand it as it goes more in depth but watch the ending scene of Logan when he meets Zander Rice before shooting him and take note what Zander says.
@@recon_jon6151 Ahhh ok I get you now. Yeah I’ve not heard of anything much either. If anything I’ve only heard when wolverine had his adimantium forcefully removed that his abilities increased. But at the cost of become more beastly like sabertooth.
The one thing I've always hated about Wolverine, is his adamantium bones ignore basic anatomy. He might have indestructible bones, but his tendons and ligaments are not indestructible. Dismembering him should be possible, especially by persons with super strength, and dismembering him would effectively remove his adamantium bones from the part that was removed, because given he can regenerate, he should only be able to regenerate normal bone and his bone claws, not the exogenous adamantium.
Actually this is a topic a lot of people seem to miss on and understandable because there’s a lot being said in such a short span of time. Wolverine didn’t mainly die from adimantium poisoning in Logan. It was actually from a government programme that used genetic therapy within every day products and food that started to genetically adulterated Logan’s mutant genetics in an attempt to control mutant kind. It’s actually said at the end of Logan just before he shoots Zander Rice, Strikers son. But because of his healing factor slowly failing from this, the adimantium poisoning starts to happen adding more strain on Logan’s already failing body.
What a lot of people don’t know is in wolverines Main arc Is that his him isn’t poisoning him it’s keeping him from mutating even more and into a feral beast ! Also, his health generation doesn’t slow down. It actually gets faster after my needle rips the adamantium out . He actually gets it back, but not after he gets huge bigger stronger and faster
Honestly, in the modern era after deadpool was invented they decided to make healing factors ridiculous, but back in the day while wolverine and sabretooth could heal from ridiculous injuries, they could have their healing factor overwhelmed. They seem to have just made healing factors an invincibility thing.
Wolverine can't normally regenerate from a single drop of blood. His powers were boosted when that happened. Do your research mate, it shouldn't be this easy to poke holes in your content .
Unless there’s a spin off, the comics make it pretty clear that deadpools healing factor is stronger. In the comics deadpools healing factor was a derivative of Wolverines healing factor DNA. Similar to X23. Except the healing factor they based on wolverines was enhanced. And, the fact they share a similar amount of DNA is why Deadpool has always had a hard on for wolverine. But in the comics it’s made clear that Deadpool has an enhanced version of Logan’s. For the most part it’s really rare that wolverine can regrow arms or regenerate from a drop of blood. That’s not his cannon healing factor, his isn’t that strong. Dead pools cannon healing factor is that strong but wolverines isn’t.
Solder boy vs Captain man Jason Voorhees vs Wolverine A-Train vs Quicksilver John Wick vs The punisher Catwoman vs Letty Ortiz Homelander vs The terminator Who would win and why?
Deadpool & Wolverine win for sure. The both of them regenerate, Captain America and the Winter Soldier do not. Wolverine is much older than Steve and Bucky, making him the most experienced, not only that, but he’s the strongest one out of all of them. Deadpool is a experienced fighter and if he were to get hurt, the cancer cells would quickly form back together, making him invincible against Steve and Bucky, this gives Deadpool & Wolverine a lot of advantages, making them win easily.
They didn’t really demonstrate that in the movie. Logan directly says it’s the metal. But yeah the cannon cause is the corn syrup and GMOs that was put in the food and booze. And it wasn’t really a cure it was just a suppressant.
Honestly the whole you got to drown someone with a healing Factor argument is stupid when Wolverine had his brain literally melted from disintegration and also the many times Deadpool has been shot in the head and had his head completely blown off
Deadpool can survive his head being severed unlike Logan. That fact alone changes the game. Btw imagine creating a cure for cancer for the purpose of killing somebody.
For those who asked about hulk ripping wovlerine in half, Hulk has ripped Wolvie in half, BUT, that was ultimate (1610) earth/universe, not mainstream (616) earth/universe.
I totally disagree based of a comic, can remember the issue but wolverine was his metal skeleton removed and because it’s removed his healing factor and animalistic nature went insane and he was a beast! So basically the only reason he’s comparable at all is because of the metal. With it gone and his natural bones they aren’t even close my guy!
But if deadpool is basically immortal producing dying cells then why would wolverine not be because of a slow down in healthy cells? Wouldn't deadpools factor also eventually stop producing as many dying cells to replace dead cells in the same way that wolverines stop producing healthy cells being as it "that' part of healing factor would be the same being based off of wolverine?
Pool's healing factor in comic is a little bit different than moive pool, yeah the X-serum part is still the same, but in the comic, Thanos love Death ( the Grim reaper in Marvel universe) , but Death is interested in Deadpool. so he cursed Deadpool to never be able to die so he'll never be able to be with Death . so yeah, he's litterally unkillable.
If Wolverine's healing factor wasnt always working against the adamantium poisoning then his healing factor would be on par if not better then Deadpools.
Yes, but the same thing can be said with Deadpool cancer... And with Deadpool his healing factors is so strong that if someone without cancer get his healing factors they will explode from over healing.
Nah Deadpool would die *without* cancer. Wolverine's healing factor is basically too strong for a human (Logan isn't human) and would replace cells even faster than they can die, so the mutated person would just die from an overproduction of healthy cells, but for a born mutant it's all natural.
@@NNabawiYTPlease remember wolverine healing factor is NATURAL, an deadpool healing factor is FROM WOLVERINE. > Wolverine's healing is better, especially without the metal in him.
Deadpool has the stronger healing factor. It's due to it being injected in both his living and cancerous cells in an attempt to get the latter destroyed by the former, thus causing Deadpool to be able to regenerate from and survive decapitation, something that has been stated to be a surefire way of killing Wolverine apart from drowning. Some even argue that what Deadpool has is not a healing factor but an undying factor as his living and dying cells are constantly being replaced.
Man, if you highball this, it's a wash. Their greatest feats both include coming back from just blood. Wolverine has a skeleton grafted with an indestructible adimantium that contains and protects soft tissue from which he can regenerate, and a highballed deadpool litterally can not die. But I have to call bs on such highball feats because in the average adventure with these guys, they're not constantly dealing with hundreds of clones spawn from their dandruff or something. Therefore, we can conclude that said highball feats are merely that of plot contrivance and not the default traits of either character. I'd also rule out their lowball feats like slow regen or stuff that they could normally take that straight up, put an end to them. I'd say that without any special assists (explained or otherwise), each can only regenerate if a certain amount of their respective biomass survives to regenerate from. Ie headpool is still alive, but he ain't growing a new body. Based on each of their common feats, I'd give the edge to deadpool on regenerative ability as he regularly has something lopped off where as Wolverine is usually "just" impaled. Conversely, I'd give the durability feat to Wolverine as it generally takes a lot more to hurt him in the first place. That being said, deadpool would likely do less well in most dangerous situations as he'd suffer a faster rate of attrition than Wolverine and would logically drop below the regeneration mass freshold more quickly than Wolverine would under the same conditions, even if his regeneration biomass freshold is lower.
So can Wolverine dies if brain is damaged like x24 in Logan? Or is that only in the movie? He recovered when near the sun with only skeleton left his brain shoulda be melted but still regenerated
only in the movies plus x24 was a flawed clone while the movies, wolverine gets shot in the brain multiple times and heals. also in logan movie they say they spread the cure by putting it in the food and the alcohol logan was drinking has the cure in it which is why his healing factor was so weak.
Deadpool strength is only 2x more but the healing factor lets him push his body to where he can push powerhouses . At the same time he is thin and his weight gets him tossed around like a salad lol😅
yeah good vid deadpools healing really is on another level ...... and that was before Thanos gave him the immortality curse to keep him from ever getting freaky with Lady Death XD
its Deadpool, if Wolverine didn't have the adamantium poisonings they would be equal. If you go off of pure regenerative ability as seen in current movies and comics Deadpool has a better healing factor. I still like Wolverine more.
I would say deadpool is better at fighting too it would be a long battle but deadpool would win 10/10 times eventually however if wolverine didn’t have the adamantium skeleton it would be more even i would still say Deadpool wins

There was video done on Wolverine's healing factor caused by genetic mutation like other mutants, his cells would still go through replication, however there could be another mutation, and the mutation is what could change the rules of his healing factor, potentially causing him not to heal anymore. It has nothing to do with what metal is inside him.
@@RYLIK_89mate, you can dislike it all you want. But that is the canon in the main continuity.
Your head canon can be whatever you want, and a writer might come along in the future and retcon it. But for now, adamantium poisoning means his healing factor is always working in overdrive. Remove the adamantium and his healing capacity increases.
@@karnowo dislike what? It's literally said in the movie that his power was taken away by the treated water.
aww sweet summer child
Wolverine in logan is not dying because of his skeleton, it's because of the things they're putting in the food to suppress mutant genes. Also, Wolverine did get ripped in 2 by the hulk
I just realized that Wolverine should be HIGHLY Radioactive! His skeleton is made of metal which means after being subjected to a nuke, it would be practically glowing and he would be in constant agony from the radiation sickness as well as being a serious hazard to anyone nearby!
Damn that makes hella sense he probably does feel the agony which might be why after he gets nuked it would take a little longer for him to heal
What if you gave Deadpool the same procedure to have his skeleton laced with adamantium?
Hugo Strange vs Hannibal Lecter
Red Skull (Marvel Comics) vs Alucard (Hellsing)
Kratos vs Wonder Woman

@@BN_Nano wonder woman can rip kratos. Wonder woman is literally a girl version of superman
@@aye796 lmao no bruh that would be Supergirl not no wonder woman.
How much is the actual healing factor and how much is the curse that won't let him die?
the curse was broken a long time ago in the comics and he actually ends up dying during secret wars when his earth collides with another earth.
Considering that Deadpool’s healing factor is a copy of Wolverine’s in the source material, it would only make sense that they would be equal.
Hit-Girl (Kick-Ass films) VS Yelena Belova (MCU)
Two young girls who have no powers but are still very good at assassinating people. Who's the deadliest of the two?
BORING.
Welcome back DanCo.
What if somebody gave Deadpool powers to somebody who already had cancer?

Or how his bones create blood and it gets out of the adamantium into his bloodstream...

The scintillating & sexy Jean Grey held him together, or he would have died; I had a subscription to the comic referred to at the time.
So if you cut one of these guys in half would they grow into two people?
Deadpool is replacing dead cells with constant dying cells his healing factor is kinda insane
Cancer cells arint dead cells there rouge cells
They want there own survival not the whole bodies
Deadpool and Wolverine's healing factors in D&W are CRAZY
Honestly, in the modern era after deadpool was invented they decided to make healing factors ridiculous, but back in the day while wolverine and sabretooth could heal from ridiculous injuries, they could have their healing factor overwhelmed. They seem to have just made healing factors an invincibility thing.

Hey Danco I love the video you made about best healing factor Dr. Manhattan, I bet if he met doomsday, he would wipe him out less than seconds
But what happens when you inject them with Adamantium like in X2?
Solder boy vs Captain man
Jason Voorhees vs Wolverine
A-Train vs Quicksilver
John Wick vs The punisher
Catwoman vs Letty Ortiz
Homelander vs The terminator
Who would win and why?
Wolverine 🤟
Because he is the best at what always he does 👍
Wolverine & Deadpool (X-Men films) VS Captain America & Winter Soldier (MCU)
Deadpool & Wolverine win for sure.
The both of them regenerate, Captain America and the Winter Soldier do not. Wolverine is much older than Steve and Bucky, making him the most experienced, not only that, but he’s the strongest one out of all of them. Deadpool is a experienced fighter and if he were to get hurt, the cancer cells would quickly form back together, making him invincible against Steve and Bucky, this gives Deadpool & Wolverine a lot of advantages, making them win easily.
@@Tuxin1Wolverine may be strong enough to throw Silver Samurai off a cliff, but stronger than Cap and Bucky? I doubt it.

In Logan, it was the mutant cure in the alcohol he was drinking, not adamantum poisoning.
They didn’t really demonstrate that in the movie. Logan directly says it’s the metal. But yeah the cannon cause is the corn syrup and GMOs that was put in the food and booze. And it wasn’t really a cure it was just a suppressant.
Honestly the whole you got to drown someone with a healing Factor argument is stupid when Wolverine had his brain literally melted from disintegration and also the many times Deadpool has been shot in the head and had his head completely blown off

i think his biggest healing factor feat in the movies is when he survived a nuke.
Deadpool can survive his head being severed unlike Logan. That fact alone changes the game.
Btw imagine creating a cure for cancer for the purpose of killing somebody.
Just waiting for him to dunk on homelander again
Deadpool's clothes heel as you saw in the first movie with that knife in his skull so obviously Deadpool's got the stronger healing ability
Wouldnt wolverine be constantly ravenous and need to eat insane amounts of food to fuel the constant repair ?
The hulk tore wolverine in half before and threw the torsos in opposite directions off a clif. He had to crawl back to his legs and heal himself.
Does wolverine regenerate limbs or just wounds??
Yes! Yes, Deadpool has the better healing ability! I really needed someone to break it down for me. 😃👏🏻

Yes, but the same thing can be said with Deadpool cancer... And with Deadpool his healing factors is so strong that if someone without cancer get his healing factors they will explode from over healing.
@@NNabawiYTisn’t it where dp’s healing factor is his cancer. So if someone try’s to copy his healing factor they get turbo cancer

Great video Danco.
if u just trap deadpool in an room without weapons fight is basically over
id say deadpool edges out ahead only because lady death has a crush on him and wont let him die.
My question is why has Hulks healing factor not been apart of his character in the MCU
This is a nice breakdown video .
I have a question in the movie, Deadpool and wolverine, who woke up first?
If only admantium wasn’t poisonous, he’d still have a nigh-indestructible skeleton and his healing would increase to it maximum capacity

Deadpool vs hulk who has the better healing factor
What about Thanos denying Deadpool dying because of Death?
Lets be honest Dwarf Logan solos all of fiction easily...
No that's comic accurate Logan
yeah good vid deadpools healing really is on another level ...... and that was before Thanos gave him the immortality curse to keep him from ever getting freaky with Lady Death XD
its Deadpool, if Wolverine didn't have the adamantium poisonings they would be equal.
I think we should ignore the fact that wolverine regenerated from a drop of blood. He drops a lot of blood, so there should be a million wolverines by now.
Hulks healing factor is actually so crazy no cap
