Greek exports are flourishing across the world.
Systematic efforts to boost trade and improve the extroversion of the Greek economy have been key for Greek exports to reach a historic high of €54.7 billion in 2022, a 36.7% increase compared to 2021.
Top export sectors include fossil fuels, lubricants products, manufactured goods classified by raw material, food and live animals, chemicals, and transport machinery and equipment. Greek products are mainly absorbed by EU markets with the top 4 recipient countries being: Italy, Bulgaria, Germany and Cyprus.
