Put both in the sun. You will see where the $$ went. Spigen yellows very easily. Apple case does NOT yellow ever. Spigen also has slits in the buttons which is a deal killer for me.
it's not about the money, it's due to the fact that Spigen is using soft TPU on the sides. Soft TPU is much more impact absorbent than the hard material on the Apple case.
@@HarryUnchained Which means that ultimately, the Spigen case is a better choice as it offers more protection, right? And if you're worried about yellowing, you can always order a new case after like a year of usage or something.
This just sealed the deal for me on the Apple clear case. I got it for a reduced price on Amazon for my 14 Pro Max. Should be here by the end of the day. Thanks for a solid review Derrick!!
Hey, great video 🙂 Have you perhaps noticed - does the apple’s case provide enough gaps for dust to get through and move around scratching the steel edges? And also, is it compatible with a full on “3d” screen protector in terms of not peeling it off?
@@derrickrambles8236 thank you, I decided to go for a blue abyss silicone case. All I can say is that it’s not bad at all! Well apart from gluing all the dust to itself I guess lol
Spigen Ultra Hybrid turns Yellow after awhile, Apple case still clear
Really ? I’m plane to buy spigen hahahah Thank bro
@@XAV-117which is better and looks better ? Silicone or clear case ?

The spigen one get yellow after one month only! I have one! Was disappointed!😏
Right! The apple case is like an investment at this point. Pay more now and you won’t have to buy another clear case later

Yeah, I prefer the apple case for the sheer fact that it will not yellow. Worth the money to me!

Dust does get in, but I haven’t noticed any scratches. Also, 3rd party screen protectors works fine. I’m currently using a spigen one
