Aww, they skipped ‘King Kong’ and ‘Kung Fu Panda’.
Jack Black shared the screen with my crush in King Kong. I was so so jealous.
Maybe cus of copyright issues?
and be kind rewind right?
and missed 'The Cable guy'...
@@thrwawyacct Yea, with Andy Serkins, i know!
Weird they have him talk about Anchorman where he's in one scene, but skip over his bigger movies such as King Kong, Saving Silverman, Mars Attacks, and Orange County...
RUclips has this weird algorithm these days where it pushes up/features videos that are about ten minutes long. Shorter or longer vids get buried. So many channels attempt to make most of their vids ten minutes long. They probably did ask Jack about those movies but then they had to trim all the footage down and only pick the funniest responses.
And Kung fu panda
so so true, and that movie with tony robbins .
Shallow Hal where he is the main character!
“My brother lance is perpetually recovering from the night before.” “Has anyone seen my piss?” Dude lance is the funniest fucking character in that movie
It's impossible to watch a jack black interview and not have a huge smile on your face. Guy is so awesome.
I like that School Of Rock is his favourite film that he worked on :D
@Replay Ghost shat up yu steupid
Right, school of Rock over the pick of destiny.
No Nacho Libre
This needed to be like an hour long.
Jables was *ROBBED.*
How can you not like Jack Black. He seems like such a good guy.
Amine!
Such a down to earth actor.
"A Lean Mean 216." I feel that on a spiritual and physical level, Jack.
Year One, King Kong, Orange County, Saving Silverman, Shallow Hal, Kung Fu Panda, Kung Fu Pando 2 lol... Bernie, Bio-Dome, Envy, The Polka King... great movies
Year One !!
Yall forgot Goosebumps.
and AirBorne
He was in bio dome? wtf
@@justingreaves6769 Don't say we didn't save some freakin' trees!
Kinda wanted to hear what his opinions were about "Year One", and "Bernie".
@Jeff Baker So good
Bernie was his best performance IMHO
Year One was fall down funny !!
The fact they didn't mention Bernie or The Polka King bummed me out. Two of his best and deepest performances. And how on earth they left out Cable Guy or more importantly *Mrs. Albert Hannaday*??!!!! Blasphemy.
Bernie really caught me off guard with how good it was.
can't believe a youtuber got to star in that many movies
Jablinski gayummmmmssss
No r/woooosh yet. Still hoping.
Lmao
@@PaulTarsusRips or just don't it's a dead meme and it's just annoying. Like your mum.
Nacho Libre is easily one of the most underrated movies of all time!💯
i love that movie amazing
When I saw it in the movies I thought it was pretty lame, but then I gave it another watch on DVD and finally saw the subtle genius that it was.
Love him. Was lucky enough to see a preview of Kung Fu Panda 2 where he turned up for the Q&A. They had packed the front two rows with school kids to gauge their reaction, and he basically vamped a 15 minute (age appropriate) comedy set for them while answering our inane questions. Not just a great actor and hilarious comedian, seems like a genuinely stand up guy!
How tf you leave "Shallow Hal" out of this??
My favorite non tenacious d thing he's done
or saving silverman
Too touchy of a subject nowadays. I’m not saying it.
@@stormblessed2321 Touch how? Fuck that. It's one of his best leading roles.
Or kung-fu panda honestly
He’s starting to look like 1970s Orson Welles.
Damnit I was thinking the exact same thing. Now he must just start doing a slick back hairstyle aswell.
Bahaha
How could you skip The Holiday?! It was such a different type of role for him!
*NO FUCKING SHALLOW HAL!? COME ON!*
One of his BEST movies ever!
Not to mention Year One and Kung Fu Panda!
This video shoulda been 30minutes long AT LEAST!
AGREED
High Fidelity?
No shit man I was like wtf
Not one word about BERNIE?? Jack, that was your best movie ever. You were absolutely believable and brilliant in it.
Alberto Enriquez yeah I knew they missed something! Where the hell was it?
Honorable Mention to the "Tenacious D" HBO Series.
no Be kind Rewind wtf? One of my all time favorite movies
Correct
and what about Mrs. Albert Hannaday?!
forgot about that movie !! Huge Indie film and my intro to Mos Def. love that film.
horrible movie
@@caseychapman5726 Thank you for sharing your opinion.
They should definitely do more of these... they've only done like 4 so far, but this is a fascinating look into the mind of the actors as they go through their best and worst movies. You see who an actor REALLY is when you bring up their shittiest movies... and Jack took it like a legend
Easily could have edited down less too, there were a few more titles I would have been interested to hear what he had to say.
They tend to not mention all the movies though...
I loved "The Big Year", it's a fantastic movie and it really shows that Jack has a good range in acting.
Nacho Libre is one of my all time favs!
I shed a tear when he didn't speak much about it :( :(
I'm with you on that one! He was happy with it which is all that matters. I need to watch it again very soon
"When you are a man, sometimes you were stretchy pants, in your room.. it's for fun"
@@josey6231 Oh no! Your a quoter
@@JaiPritchett sure am, but when you look under the quote you find a man, and underneath the man you find his... nucleus
I love how he specifies the “the” because that’s legitimately something he’s been thinking about for years. I remember on a commentary on the SOR dvd they were originally going to call the movie “The School of Rock” but he convinced them to drop the “the”. However “The” still appears in the opening credits at the bar/music venue.
In the movie he also changes zacks song from “rock has” to “rock GOT no rhythm”. He seems goofy but he strongly understands the power of words and that’s what makes him a genius!
Wait... so Bruce Willis jumped on a plane to Paris in the middle of a workday? For lunch? Lmao
Thats a straight up power move.
glad to hear Jack Black loves School of Rock as much as I do
Richard Linklater directed it, it had no chance of being bad
2:33 I think Jack Black would be great successor to Mark Hamill as the voice of the Joker.
ouch, yeah i just noticed how eerily similar. he'd be a great joker
You are spot on. He'd make a great Joker.
Enrique Medina I was about to say “No!” But yeah..... I hear it, that growl
Can´t imagine Joker in the movie fighting the Batman and talking like Kung fu Panda :D
idk I think hes too recognizable with his voice it may take away from the performance even if it is just voice kinda like watching jim carrey play the riddler it's really just
jim carey but I would still love to see it
No doubt the best interviewee!
WHATS UP JABLE?!
How's the stream going? :)
Can't believe you guys skimmed over Airborne!
FiFteen10media I know!! What the hell. That’s the reason I watched the video
Yeah, IKR?! I was like you have classic lines like, "Did he just call you a piece of underwear?"
I love him man he’s effortlessly hilarious and chill and so real, I wanna have dinner with him
I LOVE JACK BLACK and literally EVERYTHING HE DOES!!!! LONG LIVE THE D!!!!
You're gods gift to humanity Jack! Keep spreading your bliss to the rest of the world with your amazing gift! You're still one of my greatest influences you rock dude!
"I think we'll make a part two, I think you have to. They'll kill you...if you try to walk away. And they clone you"
I thought he was really good in The Holiday, too - I never cared much for him, but that role sort of changed my mind about his acting abilities!
tru dat
"the Big Year" is way underrated, totally worth watching
He also had a decent part in Enemy Of The State...
I expected that film to get a mention.
I saw The Pick of Destiny when I was 16 and it reshaped my comedic sensibilities in a way that has impacted everything I have laughed at since.
What? Not even a mention of Shallow Hal? C'mon Jack was great in that movie!
CubeMatrix Gaming or Bernie! Which he was great in!
I still love School of Rock, it's one of my favorite movies - because it is actually about a significant topic, teaching the younger generation about proper Rock :D.
Sad they skipped AIRBORNE. First time I ever saw Jack Black in a movie.
I wish they asked him about his part in the Never Ending Story 3.
Glad I'm not the only one!
Same!
Me too.. Kinda burned by it... Thats one of my childhood favorites
"You can't walk away or they kill you, and clone you.." Hmm interesting he mentioned that.
I was waiting for 'The Jackal' because that's the first movie I remember Jack Black in.
I could watch him all day. Love his honesty
9.23 - 9.31 is I think what the soft talk/singing cadence thing they were talking about. He totally does do that!!!!!
WTH? Why'd you skip Cable Guy?
"Are you ready to rock?"
Hell yea. My fav Jim Carrey movie. Thats when i first saw Jack Black. I thought he had the weirdest face.
@@billyshead1339 There was a period there in the 90s where JB was just that weird guy you saw in movies sometimes. He looked like the younger brother of Colin Malone from Colin's Sleazy Friends.
Jack Black, I'm 75/25 on your movies, leaning towards 75 percent for the good. Regardless of the shit 25 percent, I love you as a person.
jack black sparks joy
Shoutout to the universe in the multiverse that got a whole series of 'Heat Vision and Jack'
One of a kind this guy
Jack Black will always be my cool uncle
I can’t believe they didn’t mention “Airborne”. Easily one of the greatest films of the 20th century
Jack black has long been one of my favorite actors. He is so lively and entertaining. Keep up the wonderful work my man
My favourite Jack Black character: Barry Jive in High Fidelity
...and the Uptown Five
Wanted to hear about “Envy” w/ Ben Stiller or Sharktale
Thank GOD someone else has seen ENVY. LOVE THAT MOVIE
Jack black has E V O L V E D
The House with a Clock in its Balls looks more like, at the end there. 😂
This is sooooooooooo entertaining.
They forgot Mars Attacks. A defining role for the Jables, IMO
I love how the camera on the right of him is meant to be a profile, but he just chillaxes on the fucking side so it becomes a gorgeous back, over the shoulder kinda profile-ish shot.
thank you IMDb for keeping all shits and fucks in this.
Aww! They didn’t talk about The X-Files!!!
What about the Goosebumps movie? I love that one. Should have included it.
Also obviously King Kong and Kung Fu Panda
That was great! Love this format-- More !
Jack Black always makes me feel better when I’m feeling anxious or down.
This is great! Definitely make more of these. I suggest Nicolas Cage for the next episode. Should be super entertaining.
Should have had a much bigger role in "Airborne".
loved this movie - and my first intro to Jack Black
Stylin'? St-stylin'?
Watched the video for him to mention airborne
"Did he just call you a piece of underwear??"
"I'm Augie, I like Nintendo"
Jack Black is a national treasure.
Johnny Skidmarks: Holy shit, I laughed so hard I was crying 🤣
So... why does this have less than 1,000 views? Great evergreen promotional content idea for IMDb and the participants.
Wow no King Kong?????!!
And speaking of small roles, no mention of Mars Attacks!????
How could they leave out his amazing rendition of "Just a little kick in the cunt" from Run Ronnie Run?
Great content. Do more of this. I'd love a longer cut for people I really enjoy
where's Po?
forgot Bernie and Goosebumps
What I like about IMDb me is hearing the celebrities opinions of whether or not some pieces of the trivia or trademarks are true or not.
9:40 starts speaking slowly and softly then starts singing with intense cadence
Jack Black could probably play a pretty good Orson Welles.
ruclips.net/video/FjAM4ynqg9E/видео.html
How do you skip The Neverending Story III, he's the leader of The Nasties!
That, and 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer'! I can't believe they didn't mention it!
@@pbiasizzo im guessing real reason, ppl ask him all the time about those movies. Ive seen never ending story 3 when it first came out and years later relized it was a terrible movie
boneyard009 yeh all the never ending story movies are atrocious as an adult
@@andocobo hhmm. Not when i say not good. I mean the story wasn't. Possibly the acting as well but idk. The actor that played sabastan this time, well hes an ok actor. I mean who didn't like free willy? But the main focus is jack black and his roll was to be a bully. So not a hard task.
I need more of these and they need to be longer
Just watched the house with the clock in its walls for the 5th time with my 4 years old grandson.💟💟💟
The big year for me, one reason I do bird watching, besides, it's Jack Black, tenacious d, birdwatching rocks!!! 🤘🤘🤘
What about Year One & Harold Ramis??
Damn. I wanted to hear about his "Mars Attacks!" role
This was awesome. Don't know if it would be as entertaining as this beautiful bastard made it, but I'd definitely watch more
No Cable guy? No shallow Hal?
I'm let down you didn't talk about The D Train or Heat Vision and Jack.
He seems like a guy who would be fun to hang out with.
i dont know why but Year One despite being a pretty dumb film , for me is so rewatchable. i watch it too much tbh but i just cant get enough of it and i think its the actors more than the script itself
Orange County? Saving Silverman? Bongwater?
m m they missed like 10 movies
Who knew that Jablinski Games would get so popular so damn fast.
JB waited 20-30 years, kept pushing and found success. Good lesson in that.
Mc Luvin it! 😂 loved your IMDb thang you rawk and am keep on rawkin
Forgot about kung fu panda.
that's a pretty big thing to not mention lol
wtf, why no never ending story 3?!?
This video should have been twice as long
9:23 to 9:31 Jack demonstrates exactly how that comment described his speaking cadence lol
You skipped Saving Silverman HELLO!
King Kong? Shallow Hal?
carsormyr He hates Shallow Hal
Johnny Skidmarks was a beautiful gem I never knew about lmao crying
The cable guy!!! Are u ready to rock!!!???lol
