Thanks for this. This is going to be my second build of 3.24. Going Corrupting Fever Champion for fast mapping and currency build up.....working into Lightning Strike Champion for bossing.

Man, gotta say. I wanted to try Ls for 4 leagues now, but everybody is saying its too expensive. Your league start video gave me hope. This will be it! Lets hope I don’t fail it
It is very expensive if you want to do uber bosses, but outside of that you can get it going for a moderate budget. Is it one of the best skills..... no way but it is fun :)
I just want to farm with it, do my essences, and maybe get some divines while I am at it lol 🥹

Nice, love your’s build guide. I find my starter. Can you tell me one more thing: can i kill all bosses and do all content?
Lightning Strike can scale to do everything but it is expensive and I have not worked out the best way to put an expensive build together. The non crit version will get you your atlas clear and going to crit and claw will mop up your last 2 voidstones and get all the invitations done. If you want to tackle ubers and T17 maps thats a whole other level on melee. It can be done but will be very pricy
Looks awesome! What is the drop chance of Ichimonjis? I think i have never ever seen them drop but im new so only just completed the campaign in this season.
They are T4 rarity which is the second most common tier. They have the same drop rate as belt of the deceiver, quill rain & facebreakers. They are honestly probably hidden on filters once you get to maps as they are 1c in value consistently every league. You have reminded me I need to make sure it shows on my filters :)

Looking forward to try out this build :) how does it compare to splitting steel and corrupting fever champion, and can you transition from one to the other? Also how good is it (in general and compared to the other champion builds) for ultimatum? Thanks
I imagine Corrupting fever is better at mapping but it stuggles hard on bosses without investment. I have not played Splitting Steel but have heard good things and overall is probably a better build I would think...I just do not like the skill. This build should be pretty good at Ultimatum as has vaal skill for burst damage and pretty good defences

at 10:48 you mention to do added lightning damage for trinity since only one damage aura, later in the build when we run precision, grace + wrath, is that ALSO when we ditch trinity again?
Yes once wrath is your only damage aura and you are running ichimomjis you will drop trinity as you won't have the share of elemental damage to maintain it

Haven’t built the crit version but I ran a very similar build in 3.22. I will see if I have anything to put the build together in standard
Also, quick question, this is only my 2nd real league (TOTA made it to act 9, Affliction made it to T6 maps, I do have a lot of ARPG experience tho) do you think this build is do-able for a semi beginner like myself?
Yeah If you can master getting your buffs right on bosses I think it will be pretty good as it needs very little gear to get into red maps

I can see the benefits of going Champ early on, but in an endgame scenario, would the Champ be outscaled by other ascendancies (Raider, Trickster, Slayer etc)?
No champ would scale further I would think as you could armour stack
at 7:30 when you mention "1 hand axe and 1 hand sword with ele damage" does that mean ANY flat ele damage? is this because of trinity?
Any ele damage and an open prefix. It is not really related to trinity it is more than we will be scaling elemental damage so weapons with just physical damage won't work

But I have learned SOOO much from this series you have made... thank you so much. Leveling melee usually is not so fun.... but this might be in my top 2-3 favorite leveling experiences. Its fast, strong and fun AF
7:30 one handed axe & sword for boost damage from different type weapon right ? can i use one handed axe & claw ? it has gain life when hit and good attack speed more than one handed axe & sword or am I missing something ?
Yes you can use claw but you will not be able to use leap slam or whirling blades if you use axe and claw, Sword and claw would probably be better as you can use whirling blades
what filter is it you're talking about specifically? You only got bow and smite filters in your personals

Thoughts on lightning strike of arcing?
I have heard good things but I have not really tried it. I probably would not league start it as it might cost a bit to get the vaal version especially if you want quality on it

There is a pretty decent end game pob in the main guide video description. When you get enough currency you are going to want to switch to claw & shield and go full crit.
I will probably push it further, but want to wait until I see what the new crafts are like
@@FuzzyDuckzy I really like a challange and i am an experienced PoE player thats why i consider LS over Splitting Steel atm.
Would you say that you got enough dmg for ubers?
Not with week 1 gear but if you only wanted to play one build you could probably progress into an armour stacker. I don’t really Uber boss so I probably will just play the build for a week or two and then find a new build

No it would be ok in hardcore but not SSF viable as needs 3 uniques

yeah just make sure you start with vaal LS and head straight to the +1 mastery near duelist start. I still would not recommend it though as it does feel pretty bad without multistrike

Blood rage and either sword or mark mastery for unique enemies
not SSf viable due to swords right?
If you need the swords early on. Yeah, I tried it on SSF while using items that I picked up on the ground until I defeat Kitava and its still ok. Once you get to maps you might need to use Ichimonjis.
You could probably do it but I would think there would be a ton of better SSF builds. Perseverance is also pretty mandatory
Torn between this a Frost blades Trickster. Someone please help me decide!
I think frostblades is gonna be a rough start. It already struggles early for single target and with extra mods you can't just go full glass cannon. Yoke is also a big part of that build and it is now tied to a T17 map boss
Could someone make a copypasta for the items that you need to buy at the first traders?
There is no much to be honest just ms boots and rrg links and maybe rg links if you get a different weapon from the starting one. I will put one in the video description.
