- - Opened May 29th, 1999 as the first "Ghost Blasters" attraction. All future Ghost Blasters attractions are based off of Ghost Hunt
- Designed and installed by Sally Corporation, now Sally Dark Rides, at a cost of 2 million dollars
- In 2008 the original two-seater ride vehicles by Barbisan were replaced by four-seater ETF Ride Systems "Mystic Mover" trackless ride vehicles
- In 2008 various lighting and sound upgrades were implemented as well as new guns with laser sights
- Also in 2008 the outdoor balcony scene was enclosed and replaced with the current mirrors scene
- In 2017 Lagotronics Projects was contracted to replace the aging interactive system installing new guns, targets, and a new show control system at a cost of half a million dollars
- In 2020 two new digital effects manufactured by Sally Dark Rides were installed. The first one is just before the entrance to Bleakstone Manor and features the new Boocifer from the Ghost Blasters 2 and Boo Blasters on Boo Hill rides. The second is the portrait located above the fireplace in the living room scene
- In 2021, for the first time ever, the ride was open for the parks Holiday Lights Christmas event and featured holiday theming throughout the ride and queue
- The longest operating season for Ghost Hunt was 2021 when the ride was open from May 8th to December 31st
- Random Fact: The ride vehicles can be dispatched every 30 seconds
