He knew he was selling the lady a dirty car and then when she started asking questions, he fled....only she was smart enough to contact the original owner of the car so then when they come to court and she has a signed affidavit from the other owner stating he did indeed sell the defendant the car he panicked and said some nonsense that he "doesn't have" a signature so he can't prove he's the one who signed the paper. Her only mistake was buying the car from him when she had concerns about the car. In the second case, I think the plaintiff should have done a bit more research before agreeing to move into a home with 4 other people. I have lived with multiple roommates before. It is a much different dynamic than living alone....you have to respect your roommates and their space, its not quiet, and there are inevitably going to be personalities that clash. If he was not used to that, then perhaps he should have found a place to rent alone.
CeltycSparrow For the second case, I kinda get where he’s coming from. I went from a two person household to a five person household. It can get hectic, and isn’t always a choice per say, especially with animals in the situation. For for the noises, asking somebody to keep it down isn’t unusual, especially in that scenario. Not wanting to fight, just bring up a point.
2nd case, she set into motion the people getting evicted because she never told the land lord she would be subletting the bedrooms. And that's the only reason they were evicted.
What is even emotional distress in the eyes of the law? I have never seen anyone get paid for emotional distress-even in cases that seemed to deserve judgment for emotional distress.
In order for people to be awarded for emotional distress, they have to prove that they had some kind of monetary loss or cost due to the distress. So usually you'd see that more in cases of abuse when the victim has the cost of therapy. Any travel expenses for that therapy could also be considered part of that. Of if someone destroyed keepsakes or things of sentimental value, the plaintiff could put a price on that value and try to sue for emotional distress. It is definitely overused and people's go-to term to just throw in.
I think because at the end of the day, it wouldn't make a different. She bought the car regardless of who owned it. At the time of the sale, she thought it was his. She even said that it was her first time hearing about the friend in court. Yet, you supposedly have a copy of the contract with the friend??? Nah.
God's Advocate People rent rooms all the time. Most of the time, there aren't too many issues worth mentioning. Also, there's no need to exaggerate so extremely. 5 people is nothing close to 1 million.
God's Advocate that's why he moved out, but the lady didn't wanna give him the security deposit back and they end up at court. You can't even see what's right or wrong, you shouldn't say anything.
People who lived in a shared house shouldn't be having sex in their rooms. That's tacky. Also you should be able to know on your flat mate's door and ask them to quiet down. Regardless she was subletting the place behind the owner's back, at her shriveled, wrinkly old age she can't even realize the only person who put herself in the situation to move out is her. She wanted to live in a huge house but couldn't afford it so she rented 90% of the property out without the owner's approval...total loser.
The law is damage deposit to have to be returned within 30 days in the state of California. The law also states that if the deposit isn’t paid within that timeframe, the court will award the tenant three times the amount, as paid by the tenant. He would have done better if he went to a real court, instead of a TV show..
If you are buying a used car ask the seller to go with you to pep boys or another reputable auto shop. They have a machine that hooks up to cars and that machine tells you everything that's wrong with the car.
Its hard to hear her blame this guy she had moved in for the reason why she was evicted for making it seem like she's running a hotel. Then on top of that punishes him by taking his security deposit. I believe her when she said "it wasn't her first intention to keep his security deposit". I bet when she was being kicked out right after he left she needed every dime she had in that 30day dead line to rent another place for her and her son and paying back his 850.00 would have to wait . She would of sounded better in court stating that which of course is the reason why. Also say that she knew it was wrong, she knows she owes him the money back and she's sorry.
LOL bruh why do people keep thinking they can come on TV court and get money back from as-is sales, knowing they didn't do enough research or due diligence before they purchased??? The wheels are hangin off, engine is smoking, its 5 million miles on the car and y'all still buy the car like it ain't broke! LOL i can't.

$850 for a ROOM...even for Irvine that's a rip off. As for the lady, I feel bad for the son, if you can't afford a 5 bedroom house then get a 2 bedroom and dont live with a bunch of strangers! Also subletting your place without the owner's approval is illegal. It's not your place to rent lady. She's all "oops I didnt know the owners could see.." she deserves to get kicked out, how is it his fault she's renting the place illegaly. Also what kind of classless savages would have sex in a rented room with THAT MANY OTHER PEOPLE living in the house...get your own place or rent a hotel, lol. Trash much.
I do feel bad for the people that were put out because of this. (the second case) He didn't have an issue with the illegal sublet until it was no longer an option for him.

CRAIG-LIST EQUATES CRIMINAL MINDS none of the CRAIG-LIST stories ever end in a good way🤔 OMG why is she yelling🤦🏿♀️
1st case the judge is having clearly fun, must be tough to keep it serious
Alon is handsome.
OMFGGG😚 Alon 😚the man in the second case is absolutely beautiful lol whoever he marries is one lucky lady 💯xoxoxo
2nd case when you move in with 1 million people you should expect problems.. go rent a one bedroom apt
Check Id to compare signatures
Kasarah Bruce judge Judy would have lol
That's what I was thinking!
My drivers license was issued to me 3 years ago and my signature on it looks absolutely nothing like it does today.
That would have worked!
As is should be against the law. These sellers usually know something's wrong with vehicle when they sell it.
If you are buying a used car ask the seller to go with you to pep boys or another reputable auto shop. They have a machine that hooks up to cars and that machine tells you everything that's wrong with the car.
Lucky for me I have a very smart father who helped me shop for cars to avoid buying something I would regret
Well she knew what was wrong since she told the judge, so before handing money over she could've walked away.
When the narrator read the first name... I thought my phone skipped lmaoooo.
The guy from the first case should have just countersued for baby sitting fees.
13:30 anyone ever notice judge faith looks cute as fuck when she's waiting on someone answer?
She got the lips pushed out eyebrows down and deathstaring.
"That's a French ass name Alon" 🤣🤣🤣
In regards to the second case, this is a perfect example of people not being able to be responsible for their own actions.
Am I the only one who has varying signatures? Granted I have chronic pain which makes it harder to write, but my signatures have always changed.
When Juan Bustamente is laughing- the whole world laughing too
When Juan Bustamente is smiling- the whole world smiling too
The plantiff in the first case is SO dramatic
Omggggggggg ahhhhhahahahahahaiiiiiiiiii he said he doesn't have an signature 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭
i recently purchased a 2018 hyundai elenta. my note ultimately made me grab another job but it’s a brand new car and i was just too scared to get an used vehicle. especially because people don’t care about you, my mom bought an used vehicle and it broke down a week later. smh be aware of scammers and be careful! great first case it was hilarious 😂
JF say the defendant’s full name but won’t even try the plaintiff’s last name.😂😂😂😂
The guy in the second case 👀😍😳❤️
“Oddie” lmao
I feel what that guy said I don’t have a signature either lol
She said she couldn't trust the legal system.. Girl all those flags and u still bought the car
Swanholm and Thunderhawk? Where are they from??
DXXP SOUL America... They're native American
They are the original people of America before Columbus “discovered” it.
Swanholm sounds swedish
Second defendant- Tell me you’re a Karen without telling me you’re a Karen
I mean I don’t have a signature either and people don’t believe me so I get where the first defendant is coming from
18:02 wtf does that sentence even mean?
"He wanted to be in a place with life "
It was hogwash.
In The first story , This Lady looks like she from that movie "Stepford Wives!!😄
That first case.. the lady was annoying af. She saw all the wrong signs. Her fault for purchasing it still. Smh 🤦🏽♀️
Second case Plaintiff is very handsome.
Trash much.
I'm going straight to hell for laughing at the narrator pronounce the first plaintiff's name.
I do feel bad for the people that were put out because of this. (the second case) He didn't have an issue with the illegal sublet until it was no longer an option for him.
"Thunderhawk" is officially the funniest name I've ever seen.
I'm guessing it's Native American... Can you explain to me why that is funny?
can we talk about getting an audi for 1400 dollars
It was probably old and like a fixer upper type of thing.
Lol...Judge didnt even try to say that name!
