The youth vote isn't worth pivoting to in their view because A. They don't turn out, and B. their demands and policy preferences are wholly at odds with the objectives of the Democratic party. AIPAC must be satisfied and quieted long term, but especially in the immediate in order to stop the attacks on down-ballot Congressional races that could lead to Republicans winning. I don't think it's Josh Shapiro or that the decision to hold a rally in a swing state city very close to DC indicates that he's the VP pick. He is considered the most problematic for the youth vote of the proposed VP candidates; I think he's out.

@simontmplr my disagreement with Cenk is that he thinks that a sort of progressive is gonna get picked in Shapiro, which yes would be a great choice, but sadly, we should know lots of voters don't really follow policy, records, and just go with they hear about people, right? In our world, we'd like to believe that voters are well informed, but they aren't. I haven't heard any buzz about Kelley, some of Shapiro, and basically no one else. Buttigieg is being very public right now, talking go everyday people and getting noticed. Oh! Wasn't it curious that he did the Sunday shows and explicitly said he was NOT there in his official capacities, just there as a regular person? Didn't that seem odd to everyone? Then he proceeded to throw some hay makers. Dems need more of that, not boring stale old politicians. Optics are more relevant in presidential elections then ever before. Look the part, get the job. It's not how it should be, but it is.

Regardless of the other 3 apparent front runners... either way, I don't think she can lose against this x-president, so why not go for the best choice for the country. The man has the integrity, the energy, the positive certainty, the charisma, the intelligence, the incredible governing record, and the ability to reach out to all levels of our society. This should be a no-brainer? “Theee Only Pick”!
You don’t win with a VP pick, unless it gets you a home state boost. If Trump had picked Governor Youngkin from Virginia, he’d have a better chance of winning the election. Vance doesn’t do much either way. Maybe a touch down, though that’s debatable.
