I miss #1522 as well. I only saw her on display in 2001 at the Museum of Transport. They even had Ol' Travis the Minature Train running! Wonderful Tribute!
as an owner of several steam traction engines, and a bit of a rail fan, very nice vid.i'm sure you have a lot of time invested.well done.almost brings a tear to eye.i saw the 1522 photo run in lake villa IL in 1988,i'll never forget it!
it's a download off the DLS(download station)up to 2009 the original version will work, from 2010 up there's a new version of there with the prefix 297, my friend chance is making a new version as of now, he's the founder of "Trainz America: Virtual Railway Company"
I haven’t watched the video in eleven years since it was published. This is a fine tribute to one of the most beautiful and loudest stack talk locomotives ever built.
You recorder very well with different positions that made an excellent job. Damn, it's really good, I mean it. I love the end... I agree with you, it looks very good to me, too.
The two best excursions for the engine were the 1990 NRHS Convention when the locomotive pulled its excursion on home rails for the first time and the 1994 NRHS Convention in Atlanta when it pulled the “Peach Blossom Special” excursion on home rails again from St. Louis to Birmingham and on the final day on Norfolk Southern trackage with N&W 611.
Oddly enough, 1522 did not haul any CN cars that I can recall, and certainly not on the head end, though the Metis would have made a nice tail car if the time line would have coincided.
just as a heads up im going to be posting a video with the same song. It'll be about my weekend trip to HSC and a ride over the hill behind Bennit Levins Pennsy E8s
U Bet! U voice Charlie, Daylight and Stan (Remember, Stan is the Santa Fe SD40). I'll give u the lines and send your files soon. I'd like to have it out by this weekend.
Coooooooooooooool!!!!!! Where did you the download for the Frisco# 1522? I love steam locomotives from 1860's - 1940's , like the Sierra # 3(Built in 1891 by the Rogers Locomotive Works ) and the Frisco # 1522 ( built in 1926, by the Bawdin Locomotive Works)
Can you tell where you got those Highland Valley and Queensland routes and the instructions how I can get them into trainz 12 without crashing the computer
@Fireheart528 What version of Trainz are you using? In TRS2004 above, you could go into surveyor, place your trains, and then run the session freely without creating a scenario.
1:37 Frank: Hey Craig
Craig: Hey Frank
1522 did run a BNSF Employee Appreciation Special in 2K1.
Brings back memories of when I discovered RUclips. :)

You'll play William and Peter in "Bitter Rivals". That episode will be next.

BTW Ron, 1522 was pulled from excursion serice in either March or April of 2002. I'll post some videos of it's last runs.
he'll release it, when it's ready. He's kind of a perfectionist, though...
As long as it comes out, I'm fine.
This is TRS2006? Wow. i gotta get myself a Frisco and i got a DVD set and i think 1 or 2 of the DVDs have Frisco in it. AND ITS REAL, LIVE TRAINS

I have Frisco 1522 in TRS2004.

One of the greatest locomotives restored and they(UP) won't let it on the UP tracks
I live in St. Louis, yes.

The second video I ever watched on RUclips...oh the good old days
very true. However, there are none of 1522's excursion cars available. I use what I had.

Hi
Guys! Steve Lerro is making 1522 on k&l trainz! I can't wait!
Oddly enough, 1522 did not haul any CN cars that I can recall, and certainly not on the head end, though the Metis would have made a nice tail car if the time line would have coincided.
i think the song is from RTC3
Sorry, it ran it's last trip on September 29, 2002. I was there.
I saw a glitch with frank at the end
just as a heads up im going to be posting a video with the same song. It'll be about my weekend trip to HSC and a ride over the hill behind Bennit Levins Pennsy E8s

like the Sierra # 3(Built in 1891 by the Rogers Locomotive Works ) and the Frisco # 1522 ( built in 1926, by the Bawdin Locomotive Works)
I'm not sure if this source is reliable, but there's a rumor that its being restored...Might be false, but I suppose wait and see.
actually.... it was September, not March :/
might be right, might be wrong. All I know is that I was very, very young in September of 2002.
Steve Lerro has made a better version of Frisco 1522, you should get it sometime.
Yes It’s On K&L Trainz
I'll send you the lines soon.
In the game, there never was a cab for the Frisco. You could add one via CCP.
I can't get 1522 to download everything it needs on TRS2006
That music is from Rail Tycoon 3! Where did you find the music for it?
speaking of which, does anyone know where i can find an HO model of the 1522?

IDK
Maybe K&L Trainz Has Frisco 1522
where did you find that engine the frisco
@Fireheart528 What version of Trainz are you using? In TRS2004 above, you could go into surveyor, place your trains, and then run the session freely without creating a scenario.
Is the download free if it is where did you get off the web?
It’s Frank
Also what is the song used?
switchyard blues railroad tycoon sound track
Shouldn’t you just Get K&L Trainz’s Version of Frisco 1522
Well the model didn’t exist yet
what song is playing?
go to the trainz download station. You need to have registered with auran, first (which you should've done when you installed the game)
What whistle does the 1522 have. in this vid?
I'll help.
In cab-mode, does the Frisco have a 1-8 throttle or a normal steam regulator
*recorded
@Fireheart528 I'm assuming you used the default SD70. You need to go into surveyor and actually fill those locos up with fuel.
how do you download the frisco?
Where do you download these Trains?
Sir where do you download steam locomotive 1522 frisco
then you should be good.
