There's so much lore packed together with humor, drama, and action. Sniper's Name is Mundee. (Spoilers Ahead, if you don't want to spoil yourself don't read) His Full Name is Mundee Mundy. He was a New Zealander not an Australian. His Father was an inventor who convinced The Government of Old Zealand to sink themselves into the ocean. Then he propositions again to send them to space. Cracking it in the process, though his father is not a very smart inventor and miscalculated the power needed to breach the atmosphere and the water surface itself. So it actually crash landed in Australia. Where Sniper's Adoptive Parents found him and now their prayers for a baby boy was fulfilled. Their last name was Mundy btw. So that's why Sniper's Name is Mundee Mundy. That's also why instead of being stereotypically TF2 Australian with Body Hair, Gruff, and Outgoing. Sniper is reserved, has little to no body hair, and relatively thin compared to his school friends. This also explains why when he was a kid. Instead of brawling with his classmates like any other Australian kid would do. He would just climb on top of a tree and pelt rocks at them.
Yeah, I was going to make a comment about that after watching the video. But decided not to, since you already made a comment about it yourself. Now, he would probably be correct about the Caber not working properly, (Well, that particular version of it anyway. Since we probably could design a better, modern version of it, with todays technology.) if he was talking about it's functionality in the modern day era. But TF2 takes place in a time period where that particular Grenade design would have still been new and commonly used.
Not only paralyzed, it would lead to the collapse of organs, inner bleeding, asphyxiation and heart attacks, and even if he missed, he would still be hitting the lungs or the heart. Hitting someone in the back is more dangerous than doing so in the front because the ribcage protects the front and the sides, mostly. Even if it did cover the back, you could aim between the ribs for the same effect
10:20 This is also why Heavy is not Fat but Mostly Muscle Built like a Sumo Wrestler and Other Professional Weight Lifters. On the opening bit about "infinite stickies", I think it's more a point of there not being a limit to the number of stickies you could conceivably place. i.e. your oldest sticky wouldn't randomly explode or disappear just because you placed an 8th sticky.
With stabbing someone in the back im sure if you hit the spine or the neck it would either kill or leave them paralyzed from the stab point down Which is still as effective as instantly killing them And with the force you see spy stab someone in game you can make the assumption that if he hit the spine the blade would spread the spine or break through it or cause enough damage to paralyze them So spy does actually work And the ulapool caber we assume it was made recently so demo could use it and it wouldn't be as fragile as you say
6:30 TF2 red vs blue takes place in the late 60's, and both teams are fueled by Mann Co, a weapons manufacturer that isn't exactly normal or efficient with its weapons

I think the point about “infinite stickies” is that they start to disappear after you put so many down, rather than literally being able to put down an infinite number of them.
Any comment regarding the reliability of old weapons degrading over time is a moot point in this scenario, as Team Fortress 2 canonically takes place around the 1950s, post WW2 but pre Cold War. They have some weird sci-fi tech for some reason, but it still takes place in the 50s, when those devices would still be new.
So the whole Lazlo thing is a reference to Half-life two, and the dialogue can be found in the chapter callled "Sand traps" , and is said by a rebel after his buddy has been killed by an antlion.
