FYI: Eitr can't damage iron grating so you can actually just put the grating right on the refinery and cage it in that way. Then you just need stairs to feed it from the top. That way, the refined eitr drops into the cage and won't damage anything surrounding the refinery. Except the floor. That should still be black marble.
I had to watch Glitchy's death at the slowest speed to see the second seeker appear from his flank and deliver the fatal blow - it all happened so quickly! As for the feasts, yes you need to defeat the Queen to unlock the Mistlands feast and (annoyingly for me as I haven't done it yet), you need to defeat Fader to get the Ashlands feast.
7:50 Items missing for max comfort (19): Maypole (can't make until summertime), Christmas tree (can't make until the end of the month), and the Lava Lamp (can't make until you have refined flametal). You're all good!
You're definitely better off just raiding a swamp crypt if you want more iron, you don't get much from the armour and swords in the mistlands. Best source of iron there is actually from ruined viaducts (take forge/stonemason bench materials with you so you can just deconstruct the bases quickly and let the rest fall). Also a great source of black marble!
Feathers- go out hunting birds at night or during rain when theyre all on the ground and are easy targets. Or, you know, chickens have feathers... Plus if you focus more on raising chickens you can do honey-glazed chicken which is good stuff at your stage of the game. You can get some feathers from burial chambers, but its not bulk feathers or a reliable source. Mistlands feast- I believe you have to whack the Queen before the bogwitch will sell you the necessary ingredient for them. Same with the Ashlands feast- gotta whack Fader to unlock it. It said that on the page you looked at. You even sorta zoomed in on it... :P
a lava lamp would look sooooo perfect on the table between the beds. plus 1 for comfort too,. feathers >= chopping down trees, hunting gulls during night-time or rainy weather or harvesting chickens.
The first three feasts will be unlocked immediately after meeting the Bog Witch, but for the successive feasts, each biome aside from Ocean will only be unlocked after defeating the boss. So yeah, you can only celebrate after the boss' defeat. What you can do though is to make the Sailor's Bounty feast since that is the only other one better than the Meadows, Black Forest, and Swamp feasts.
Maybe build a floor on your roof for your hot tub. It'll get it out of the way but still close enough that you'll gain the benefits of it. You can even build a little gazebo around it to make a party pad! 😄
I always put my eitr refinery in an iron grate cage and most of the time only make the floor from black marble. As soon as you can deal with the Mistlands, the iron for it is easy to get from deconstructing or demolishing aqueducts / bridges. Considering you have stone portals, the quicker process of demolishing them using a forge and a stone cutter, is even easier.
33:33 This is *not* a good idea unless you want to rebuild the entire basement in black marble and Iron/dvergr metal walls. Stone is not immune to damage from eitr. Also, the ceiling is wood...
The inside can be lined easily enough for that purpose and iron grates for the ceiling would suffice, my main concern is how they're gonna access the top to fuel it with brains.
@@Veklim This is true, but it's aesthetically problematic. As far as accessing the top, I think a strategically placed hole in the ceiling (floor?) could look really cool...
@MrSageOlorin If you get the height just right you can clip it instead and not need the hole, the sparks issue from further down and across so you can still keep it sealed in
I can never do the "workout before work thing". I did really good when I worked a graveyard shift and I'd work out on my way home at 5am.. and I'd go to the gym around 2-3 am on my days off, but that's my best time to have energy lol.. man I miss the GY shifts... Glitchy is such a nice boy....
Just wondering if the armor stands are too far away to give the comfort for both of you. And as pointed out below feeding the refinery is gonna be a problem possibly. Unless it goes under the table and you can access it from there. Big think, thonk and BONK.

I think id probably still stew about it even if we were in the iron age haha "why the hell can't I get 19 comfort!!??"

I totally agree with getting them from the chickens. I have found that to be the easiest way.
House looks great. We've always gotten our feathers by just chopping down trees. The herbs should be available after you defeat the queen.
After swamp feasts, you need to kill the boss of the biomes to get that level of feast. Bs gating.

@12:00 Best way to get feathers
-Get harpoon
-Harpoon birbs
-1 hit them
= you got feathers from birbs

House is getting cozier by the minute
Glitchy is a nice little boy
When it comes to feathers I like taking wood arrows into the Plains and bird hunting. They are pretty easy to spot with the bright terrain.
Hot tub needs to be bubbling to give the extra comfort

Well that sounds like a great plan!
when next mod review? I loved the first one.
Thanks! I have no idea

Ya sure you've never done it downstairs???
