Same for me. I saw The Shadows (with Cliff) @ the London Palladium in the early 60s, when I was about 10. Sadly, that was the only time I did see them, to my great regret. Now, after all this time, I have rediscovered their music and love it even more. It has also inspired me to return learning to play the guitar (and it is very difficult!)
I agree. This kind of music will never get old or outdated. How many musicians today can hold an audience in the palm of theyr hand with an instrumental ? None
My dad's a musician/entertainer, he plays guitar and sings, and when he started out he only played shadows instrumentals, which led to people calling him Hank, because he was so good. He still does most of them now, 40 years later and he's actually taught me how to play Apache and dance on
No no no no no not Stanley Myers or even the Shadows themselves who composed that song - it was their Aussie manager named Peter Gormley who composed FBI instead
Sorry I can't agree The Shadows are nothing like The Ventures have a look at this ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=the+ventures+the+shadows+apache+comparison
Never stop loving their music!
The Shadows, absolutely love singing along to their music, their unique interpretations of famous tunes.
Hank is so slick with the electric guitar.
We played the Shadows in a band in Lebanon when I was 18 and I'm 75 now and still playing the same music.
Absolutely unmatched the best string quartet on the planet
A TRIO PLUS ONE OF THE BEST DRUMMERS EVER.😂❤
The best ever- good old days once more
Best thing to see is how much fun Hank Marvin has.
.. Of All Ages!!. The Real band Ever!!, forevermore!!!!
Their music was and will always be of the best.
Simply legends. We need a new definition for the term "Classic" because they are beyond that.
Completely agree!
The Shadow were the first group I saw live. Unforgettable. This has always been my fav of theirs.

The Mozarts, the Beethovens, the Bachs of our times. Beautiful music that'll be admired for eternity.
OK à 100%
Definitely agree! And yet, I just read "the great guitarists in the world" and Hank wasn't there! A JOKE??! 🙄
Perfectly said! 😊
Love it love it. Brilliant instrumental stuff. Who can compare now...?
Absolutely 💯 amazing I love hank Marvin's playing on his electronic guitar as well as his augoustic guitar
Magnificent! Always the best even in 2020.
It also works without singing and I find them fabulous and grandiose!
Their music is still alive with me in 2020!

Right on!
They have such clear, clean sound that tells a story without words.
Hank so clearly has a good time. Good on him.
Anyone here because their dad played The Shadows all the time? :)
Literally, my late father loved the *sh*t out of them! My playlist is literally 95% Shadows.😂♥️

Супер! Классная музыка! Браво!
Bruce is strictly rhythm, he doesn't want to make it cry or sing.
Hank, WOW!!!!
Kind of like the Ventures of the UK. They even swing their guitar necks back and forth like the Ventures.
Sorry can't agree The Shadows are nothing like The Ventures have a look at this ruclips.net/video/2KdFRku97jE/видео.html

No no no no no not Stanley Myers or even the Shadows themselves who composed that song - it was their Aussie manager named Peter Gormley who composed FBI instead
the shadows wrote it but for some reason peter gormley was put down as the writer
Still alive in the 2021
Cruise Ship
Wasn't it Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath that said it was this song that influenced his guitar-picking style the most?
