- This is THE BIGGEST ALASKAN KING CRAB ever cooked in Vietnam for sure. Vietnam imports a large amount of Alaskan king crabs for their internal use. In Vietnam, people chose to eat Alaskan king crab for special events. Each Alaskan king crab has about 10 legs, enough for a gathering dinner meal which is around 10 people. According to Vietnamese chefs, the best way to cook Alaskan king crab is to steam it for 15 minutes. By steaming the whole Alaskan king crab, people can taste the most of the natural sweetness and freshness from the meat of the crab. FYI: Alaskan king crab is an expensive dish in Vietnam. However, it's the fresh Alaskan king crab. You can try a much cheaper version which is frozen/cooked Alaskan king crab legs for Vietnam street food. Many Vietnamese street food vendors carry frozen Alaskan king crab legs in their menus. I'm happy to share with you my Vietnamese street food adventure so far🤗. Love from 🇻🇳.

I feel blessed to live on the water in Maryland. We eat all the crabs we want daily in the summer and fall. Nothing beats some steamed MD crabs with old bay and some ice cold beer.

There is nothing better, than fresh Alaskan king crab. If you ever get a chance to eat it, it's pricey, but fantastic. So much better than the frozen and shipped stuff in the grocery store!!!
I literally live for Alaskan Crab...even if it's just once every 6 months, the wait is worthy.
Especially if you can hold off on the smaller bits for the next days Alfredo. Yum

People complain and never look beyond. Yes, it's not the cleanest. The counter and floor, it's a mess. But when you see them preparing the food. Its clean and washed constantly. Their hands washed all the time and the pot its cooking in it is very clean. I'd eat there in a minute. 🍽🍷
