My high school theater arts, Drama Club, and English teacher Linda Turner Stockton had breast cancer. She taught for as long as she could. There were days she couldn't make it to the bathroom in time and a student would rush to grab a trash can for her to vomit into. We sat quietly while she took frequent breaks to gather her strength. Unfortunately she lost her battle about 3 weeks before graduation. To be honest, when I had her as my 10th grade English teacher, we butted heads a LOT. When I took theater arts my senior year, I saw a whole different side of her. There she was in her element. She went from my least liked teacher to one of my favorites. I graduated 30 years ago. She's the teacher I still remember most.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. I have lost several friends and family members to breast cancer. I'm a recent breast cancer survivor! I have fought the battle for over two years. My BC was diagnosed on July 11, 2019 and I started chemo in early August 2019 because my cancer had an extremily high growth rate. I had to undergo a modified radical bilateral mastectomy to remove all my cancer and 28 lymph nodes were removed on the right side as the cancer had already spread. I pray extra hard for BC patients as I understand the struggles during the fight and the loss we live with, even if we are a survivor. May God bless us all!

Such a unbelievable story you have shared with us and I am so HAPPY that you joined yourself and the OTHERS WHO make such beautiful projects. When I tell you you picked two of my favorite PEOPLE what the three of you beautiful girls mean to me. When you were talking about your life and your mother and to lose someone so YOUNG to a HORRIBLE disease which I lost my loving sister from BREAST CANCER. I AM SORRY BUT I DON'T SUBSCRIBE TO ANY CHANNELS ANYMORE BECAUSE SOME OF THESE PEOPLE WHO MAKE VIDEOS AND ARE SO STUCK ON THEMSELVES, DEAR GOD THEY DON'T EVEN SMILE, SO YOU KNOW THAT THEY ARE ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY NOT THE ENJOYMENT OF MAKING THEIR PROJECTS and not even the ones WHO,,I would go on about them but I want to enjoy the beautiful work you three are doing. I can't wait to start to try to make it as beautiful as yours are. My sister suffered, I just can't believe she is gone but she's not suffering any more. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND STAY STRONG AND remember that we, I am PRAYING for you all. Love YOU GIRLS. KEEP THEM COMING. ALL YOUR BEAUTIFUL WORK.

The chemo almost killed her with bottoming out her immune system. She ended up in the hospital and rehab for three months. She fought cancer and was able to beat it. She fought for her life and is still alive. She is a cancer survivor and a very strong and loving mom. I am blessed to have her still today in my life at the age of 73.

My Mom, Frances, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1983, when she was 58. They removed 1breast and the lymph nodes. She didn’t need chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Feisty thing that she was, a few years later, she had the other breast removed because she hated being unbalanced and so hot from the fake breasts she had. My Dad supported her through it all. Her story ended well as she lived to be 85 and remarried after my Dad passed away. She never slowed down and worked hard as long as she was able. I miss her every single day.
