- In this video we look at the effect of the Earth's rotation on measurements of the acceleration due to gravity, g, using scales. This fits into mechanics lecture 16.
You mean there are 100° in a right angle? I'd divide by 1/3rd rather than multiply by 30.
thankyou
For the length of the day in seconds should not one use the earth's sidereal day?
That is, 86164s.
If centripetal force increases so does the radius of the object. You cannot increase centripetal force without increasing radius, because centripetal force is an outward force controlled only by the cores gravity. As gravity increases so does centripetal force, meaning if Earth was the size of Mars and it grow to the size it is now, it would be the increase of centripetal force that stems from an increase in core density.
Brother you are on something else. Spin in a circle with your arms fully extended, better yet, spin a basketball. As you many notice, the radius does not change, density is not part of the equation.
@@thatsacoollookingmissl- Subduction zones drive the Basalt down until the silicates melt and began to rise to add to the continental margin. The iron and nickel continue to sink, to add to the cores mass. By stealing iron and nickel from the crust, top weight is reduced, causing Earth to decompress. Earth took 3.5 billion years to go from the size of Mars to what it is now. Mars surface speed is half of Earths, and Mars diameter is half of Earth due to the lack of Plate Tectonics because Mars sits outside the Goldilocks zone
@@michaeldelaney3587 ah, I see. On a planetary scale it applies, but I beg to differ in that on smaller scales it might not be the case. I.e the basketball or a rock.
@@thatsacoollookingmissl- right! Mars is inside out, where the iron is sitting on top of the silicate, where Earth is now in the reverse order, where the silicate is on top of the iron and nickel as it should be. Earth has decompressed where Mars is highly compressed due to the reverse order.
you forgot that the angle in 30° isn't the same in 0°, so your calculations are false.
The Earth is NOT SPINNING... period !
And you know this how?
@@thatsacoollookingmissl- By Simply observing.
Water 💧 lay flat , always finding its level.
Even The Government says that Aeroplanes are designed to fly over a flat plane. Do an HONEST research 🤔
@@choicegospelnetwork what about when water does not lay flat? Like in an airplane mid dive? And I'm not talking about a little pitch down, I'm talking about a dive that causes every item to float up.
