As a diehard 76ers fan, after last year's choke, I told myself I wouldn't give the same diehard level of care to this team until they make it out of the second round.
I'm glad I didn't get insanely invested this year, but it still hurts.
No matter what players they have or no matter whose the coach, they always suffer from both inconsistent performances from players and chokes/late game meltdowns in the playoffs.
The day they win a championship will be such a beautiful day in my life but theres absolutely a looooong way to go before I can start thinking about that

Only difference is this iteration of the Pacers play lousy defense. The 90’s Pacers had some hard nosed players led by the Davis brothers.
Should be a very good series, but gotta go with the knicks since they have home court advantage.
The 90s pacers were a low post grind team with smits and the davises with Reggie as the main long range threat. These pacers are a Paul Westhead style team with bulk shooting lol there's zero similarity.
