I sold a vintage 35 because of not traveling as much in the monogram. I kept my azur 35, 30 speedy in monogram and my gm in monogram for travel and road trips. I have the azur, d.e. and 1854 in 25. I am leaning towards the 20 for the same reasons. Which print though 🤔?😂🎉

I know I want Damier Azur, but am trying to decide between 25 or 30. Thought I did not want the bandoulier, but am having second thoughts on that now. Hey friend 🥰🥰🥰 It sounds like we have if not the same, very similar measurements and I promise you that the bandouliere will come in hand. A lot of the times, you might regret it if you DON’T get it friend 😩 Remember you can always not wear the strap if you want to have the classic Speedy look from time to time. The Speedy 30 is my favorite everyday, work horse size, but when I want to be cute and danty it’s the 25. If I could only have one I would definitely choose the 30. Hope this helps 🥰❤️🥰❤️

I’m short as hell too and the new straps for the speedy 20 drives me crazyyyyyy! 😂😩😩 and alma bb just doesn’t adjust. I promise you go for the Speedy over the Alma! The Alma is cute, but it not functional! Especially the BB because of the shape. The only portion of the bag you can really use is the bottom/base. So glad I stumbled on your video! I'm super torn on getting the new speedy b 25 DE or to get one pre-loved because of the matte finish leather on the new DE. If I look at your video, my guess is that your speedy 20 is with the newer version of the DE which is the matte finish leather on the handles & strap, while your speedy 30 is with the original shiny leather. I read on lots of forums that the matte leather can get water marks from rain, and an LV SA told me to be mindful when using hand lotion before touching the handles/strap. This is definitely not the case with the older shiny DE leather. How does the matte finish holding up on your speedy DE nowadays? Do you baby your bag when using it? Is it easy to get some water marks (rain) on the matte handle? I know that rain isn't an issue with the original shiny leather. Curious to know how the matte leather performs! :) Thanks so much!!
Hey friend! So I’ve had my Speedy 30 in DE for at least 7 years and I have never had an issue with water spots/damage. I absolutely DO NOT baby my Speedy, especially my Speedy DE. I am not mindful with hand lotion on anything else to be honest. No keep in mind, I tend to carry water based (no alcohol) baby wipes. If my hands are dirty while I’m out, I will wipe my hands off using the wipes if I am handling my bags. If not, I wipe them down at the end of the day when I get home. I have been caught in the rain with my 30 and 20 a bunch of times. I don’t have damage on either bag. I just make sure I wipe it dry when I get inside/out of the rain.
I just ordered my Speedy 25 in Damier Ebene this morning & now I’m worried about the lack of the extended zipper. I have a 30 in monogram & never had any issues, it’s just a bit too big for everyday use. Now I’m ready to cancel my damn order or swap it out for the speedy 20 when it gets here 😭😂

For everyday, yes! I would DEFINITELY recommend the Speedy 30. Coincidentally, I’m wearing it today ☺️ it’s a great everyday, don’t worry about nothing size bag! IMO 25 and 20 are to be cute and dressed. Anytime friend ❤️❤️

The 30 comes with the leather strap so it’s not extra. If you don’t think you’ll use it..sell it friend! You can make a couple hundred bucks back on just selling the strap or you can get the classic speedy. They do sell shorter straps on the website though 🥰

I had a speedy 30 DE , and gave it away to my friends daughter. I purchased a pre-loved speedy 25 in monogram. That bag literally cost me nothing here in Japan. Exactly 125 in US dollars. It’s an older bad and had a tuck away odor, which is much better. A LV rep stated the bag looks good to be an older bag etc. I’m thinking about buying the speedy 20 in DE or the Alma bb in DE. If I can find an Alma bb in DE in Japan Pre-loved that would be great. I want either one or both for quick small trips or errands.I subscribed ❤❤.
Hey friend 🥰 OMG $125 that is an amazing deal! I have a Samur that I purchased vintage that had an “old” smell to it. I used Charcoal bags to get the smell out. If you can/want to get both the Alma and Speedy get both. The are totally two different bags with different vibes. Plus, because of the shape, the Alma really doesn’t hold much. 🥰❤️
Just when I thought the 25 was what I was getting.. now I’m back to the 30…. Although I don’t go out much…(because of that) when I do “im out in these streets all day and need to handle my business”.. so probably 30 it is.. I also am confused bc I wanted the monogram bc I did have back surgery and wanted the softer leather… again I don’t go out but once a month bc of my pain.. and sure as heck don’t go out in bad weather.., so I figured monogram was for me.. but I do love the damier.. it looks so chic… ugh… first world problems.. lol.
