I've run the blue Sumos on my non-lifted 09 Tacoma SR5 4x4 for just over a year now. Stock 3+1 leafs and stock shocks, being the tow package model. Just the other day, I finally changed out the stock shock absorbers that were so comically spent they bounced when I tossed them, landing on one end. With the new KYB Gas-a-justs and Hellwig 981s the suspension is better than new IMHO, in part to the Sumos chewing up that last bit before going full compression. She's getting some new running shoes, so priorities ya know! Let the long awaited camper shell build commence!
You might want to make yourself a rear brake line bracket to lower the factory brake line bracket 2"... if you watch your video where the guy is installing the blue stops you can see how tight your brake lines are on drivers side. I'm assuming with the 1" block you put longer shocks and they look longer because of how the shock rod looks driving. I have to make one for mine and i took off that short differential vent and got new tranny-oil line hose and ran it up higher. Nice truck 😊
Thanks you for the advice I think the part of the clip your referring to the axel was actually dropped and that is why it looked tight but I will def look into this for flexing the rear end and for when I add a leaf.
Technically no, I bought these SumoSprings last year. I am an affiliate for them now but it’s different from being sponsored. Just wanted to give a honest review of a product that has improved my overlanding experience
Will get these springs for my 22 canyon, thanks
Awesome that’s good to hear! They definitely improve the ride quality. Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
These are great! One of the best bang for the buck upgrades I’ve done to my Tacoma!

I have the black 1500lbs sumos now, cause of the heavier tent too. Camper shell build that’s exciting!!!

I don’t trust someone who reviews products with a shade on
It was bright out 🤷🏻♂️
Is this a sponsored video?
