Love the look of the truck. Looking back on your other videos the fender flairs add a nice touch not too aggressive but just enough. I was wondering where you got the fender flairs from and if they’re just double sided tape or if they’re screwed on?

Thank you!! Yea I knew as soon as I got the larger tires on the black wheel i wanted black flairs to compliment them. I ordered the Chevy Colorado Z71 OEM fender flairs straight from a dealership. They are double sided tap and use the wheel liner screws to be held in place as well.

Great video, it is interesting to see other racks on the market that are similarly designed to the Prinsu rack which is one of the original roof rack systems.
By comparison with my Prinsu, based on what I see is the Martin offroad one sits slightly taller, the front fairing has more of a curved wave to it. I like that the rails seem to have almost like tie down holes built into it.
The price point is a big seller for sure, I'd really be interested in knowing the static weight limit on the martin one vs the 1000lb the original Prinsu claims, The new Prinsu pro rack has almost doubled its functionality with its new design. I'm curious to see what other brands will do to compete with the "pro" version of the Prinsu rack.

Yea I don't have any first hand experience with any other roof racks, but my buddy has a prinsu and comparing our racks your right, the curve is more waved and the weather stripping is thicker, helps with wind noise.
We both noticed the side rails have built in tie down holes which is nice for sure. Martin Off road says the dynamic and static weight rating depends on the vehicle its mounted un-like prinsu where the claim to have a weight rating. Once I take a trip with it fully loaded up I will do another follow up review and try to get the weight of everything put on it.
      Thanks again for watching!

I have to drill into my roof for my Avalanche as well. Did you take the headliner down, or were you able to do the installation without having to remove it?

Headliner didn’t have to get removed, thanks to the plusnuts we didn’t have to go all the way through.

I think we went through 3 😅 GM vehicles are a pain to drill roof rack holes for

Ever worried about leaks into the liner inside??

I’m sure that’s a slight worry for anyone that installs a roof rack that requires drilling. But if it’s done right and enough silicone is use it shouldn’t be an issue.
