I've already said he is a bust. I don't go back. For me to admit I was wrong he would need to average like 45 and 20 next season and even then I may not even admit he's a starter.

I think Scoot will continue to develop slowly but will eventually be great. My guess is he will take off in year 3 or 4. His bag is ridiculous, it’s just a matter of refining it.
He doesn’t have it. Too many things to fix in his game. He’d be good in the G league only
@@davidlee9411There are not "too many things to fix". He doesn't even need to be an average 3 point shooter in order to become a great player (even though he's been improving from 3). He gets to the line really well for a rookie. Already has a better FT rate than any guard on his team. He gets to the rim at will, even w/ teams currently sagging off him at the 3 line. Really the only 2 things he needs to clean up big time is his finishing at the rim & turnovers (both of which are VERY common issues for rookie PG's).
@@floydclark6710 he would never be a “great” player without a 3 when today’s league is all about spacing. He still has to hit average and long way from good. But Great is not easily handed out.

This dude is starting to shut up a lot of people. There's a learning curve for a 19 year old point guard...Who knew? Rookies who don't have to run the offense have a huge advantage.

Keyonte George is barely a 20yr old and he can run an offense much better than Scoot. not to mention he is a much better shooter and doesnt turn the ball over nearly as much. Age or "learning curve" isnt Scoot's issue, its talent and IQ

also i just never call anyone a bust, they have to be dookie their entire career to be a bust and Scoot has LITERALLY just started his, give the man some time to adjust. you cant compare him to Wemby or Miller bc Wemby is set up for being able to get numbers (not to mention he has a cheat code) and Miller was put on a team of misfits with a player that can expand his mind/eyes and elevate his game (LaMelo, and he can watch Bridges to see how he should mesh/play with LaMelo), Scoot doesnt really have anyone.

He has the potential to be a great pg in the league BUT I noticed that he MAINLY drives right and scores from the right side ALOT .... and when he goes left he either passes or goes for a pull up jumpshot . He needs to be able to go left more and score with the left hand WAY more . Other then that , he has a bright future 💯‼️

Hes gonna be ok. His athleticism will makes him explosive but i don't think he'll ever be a knockdown shooter. His game is limited now, he'll get better but he's just not an all nba type player.

He’s already becoming one at 19. He started really rough but we starting to see why he was picked so high
@@thuggwaffle8825 hes not. he hasn't improved that much. hes just gone from horrendous to just bad. Over his last 10 games hes still shooting 43% from the floor, even that is below league average. Including a game where he shot 18% vs Denver. In the month of February hes averaging 12pts on 11 shots, thats horrid efficiency, He is a 48% true shooter.
@@eddydesir7702 I mean Trae young shoots 42% from the field and nobody bats an eye. I understand he’s not great but the fact that he’s shown this much growth in a few months is a very good sign. His bag is deep it’s just a matter of refining it

And its Trae's inefficiency that would have kept him out of the allstar game despite him averaging more points than all the other guard that got chosen ahead of him. Trae wouldn't have been an allstar if it wasnt for the injuries to Randle and Embiid.

Miller is better
He’s like an underdeveloped version of SGA. Has the general skillset, but has a very weak jumper and not the best playmaking ability. Hopefully all that will be fixed with time.
He definitely has playmaking skills he has the most double doubles for his age
