- Captain Vikrant Sahay and his wife Vibha had a beautiful love story. But Vikrant’s sudden death in battle leaves the otherwise happy-go-lucky Vibha completely shocked. For those who don't know, Rifleman Badluram died during the Japan war, but the quartermaster then didn't strike off his name from the ration rooster, as a result, the company survived on his ration when their's ran out while they were under a seige from Japanese troops. Hence the song, to honour the soldier who served the army even beyond martydom.

#DearVibha do you know that you aren't just representing yourself or the nation's braveheart you were associated with but infact you here are representing every person who ever dared to dream or should I say had some broken dreams but didn't give up and made something beautiful and worthy by the broken pieces of a shattered dream or life for that matter . Every person related to fauj in some or the other way may have resonated with you be it a mother , wife , sister , brother or a friend . At time the most difficult thing is to accept the brutal situations in life and you my #DearVibha had the immense courage to accept it and live through it . You indeed " have it in you " . You were no less an officer or a fauji should I say before either . And these instances prove it that are :
1) You faced the most emotionally difficult situation bravely . Yes you did feel a lot but you never let your emotions bring you down infact you turned your emotions into a weapon that made you win this war with yourself and with the reality . Instead of letting your feelings turn into your weakness , you transformed it into your unbreakable drive .
2) You accepted the situation , thought about it and planned out "what now "
3) You worked extremely hard be it studying , keeping yourself fit or be it fighting your emotions and feelings on a daily basis as a result of acceptance .
3) You seemed to be adaptable since the very beginning.
4) Most importantly you tried finding light in the darkest moments of your life .
5) Realised your responsibility.
That's what a soldier is all about!
Thank you Vibha for teaching us not to give despite of some uncertain and unfortunate circumstances in life .

#dearvibha it's been such a pleasure to see anushka in this series. Right from the trailer, I got goosebumps, then I saw episodes and to be honest... This episode... At the very beginning gave me goosebumps because of that theme song. Actually my grandfather was also there in the same Batallion and he is still alive... Thankfully because I have someone who can tell me the stories of valour. He was there, during the Kargil war after which he retired.. I have seen my bua , and almost everyone in my family, leaving in fear , of whether he will come back Or not. Though I have felt there pain only by hearing to them, because I was born in 2002 , so..
But , yaa, about anushka, she is a really really talented and a natural actor. It seems that all these shooting days, she has actually lived the character. Vibha, actually, I deserve and that's why I desire to join the forces , it's been really tough as of now, but, I literally don't know, why I want to do this, because,when u love something, then, u love it unconditionally, and ultimately, everything that is about it, becomes ur liking.. The same goes with me and the army. At last I want to wish many many congratulations to the dice media team and it's been an absolute pleasure to dive into the emotions of " Army behind the Army " . It's really hard to live life with out your loved ones....I had feel that pain being an daughter daughter in law and wife of army person. I still miss my husband each and every day jab wo ghar aatey hai tab aisa laghta hai yehi holi diwali hai.....mera pehla karwachauth bhi unke bina tha.....aaj bhi aankhe unka intezar karti hai...kab aayengey wo.....ek fauji ke wife jo hu.....har pal proud hota hai....lekin ...muskil hota hai jeena bina unke

O God I can't believe it's Anushka as Vibha, kudos to Anushka, you're unbelievably amazing I mean the way you poured out your emotions while breaking down was so heart wrenching couldn't hold my tears back....
