I love that I moved to LA at 8 years old from New Jersey… right before the riots started in 1992. I lived in that era, growing up and watching the lows on the Shaw, understanding sets (though, I’m hood adjacent and only had friends who were slanging and banging). It’s so interesting to see that it was such a popular “era” to have a throwback birthday party, when we were just growing up and living it lol. He’s such a sweetheart.
