great video. I'm nearly done building mine as well (working on the engines and the rear piece currently). yes, the shield generator domes and their connecting poles were a royal pain.

@@3dmetaltools396 I'm now thinking that step 34 should come with a difficulty level of at least 11. how the heck they expect you to put 3 pieces together with everything having inside angles is beyond me. it took almost an hour just to fit the engine panel onto to the top half of the ship with the obtuse angles and how just two 2 pieces fought against each.

@@j.m.ratkos5319 Yeah, that wasn't an easy step!

@3D Metal Tools finished it last week. personally, I think that this one came out the best of the 8 or so that I've built. I made the mistake of getting all but one tab to fit correctly and didn't bother to partially twist (to secure) all other areas. I then spent the next 30 mins fiddling with them to get everything to go together.
I determined that parts 101 and 102 were easier to add to the model after securing the bottom half to the top and rear rather than having 2 additional pcs. to try and line up tabs for.

The thrusters were the hardest in my opinion because I don't have a cone model to help me out so I really I had to use nose pliers but hey are not the cone version so it was very difficult for me.
