I'm so glad that I ordered one of these stationary figures to accompany the original, articulated figures set that Titanic Creations released about a year and a half ago! Since there were not enough orders for the 30 cm version, we didn't get the 'baby Gorgo' included (which, of course, would have been really awesome), but hey! No big problem! Now, my articulated 'mama' Gorgo (or, is it Ogra?) can do double duty! In the original set, she serves as the parent... while alongside the new, 30 cm figure, she fulfills the role of becoming the 'baby!' I suppose other collectors also thought of this as well! In any case, I can positively confirm that the sculptor, 'Dope Pope', captured Gorgo's look to absolute PERFECTION! THIS is the figure of Gorgo, one of my all-time, favorite, prehistoric beasties from the silver screen, is the ONE that I have been searching for ever since it first roared into theaters back in 1961! I love it! Titanic Creations and 'Dope Pope'... CONGRATULATIONS on the ultimate collector's British kaiju dream! GORGO LIVES AGAIN!!!!!
@@bruceholroyd7063 Well said!!!
Thank you so much for reviewing this. On feet there is some variation between units.
Also with heat they seem to want to come up. But if heated can be reset downward.
@@titaniccreations9537 It really is an awesome piece I am so pleased with it, keep it up!!!
I don't remember ever seeing any Gorgo toys etc. here in the UK, just the film, but then I don't remember seeing any Godzilla stuff either, I just had loads of generic dinos and monsters like most kids. BTW your VHS cover art was so much better than what we had, wow that's cool!
Interesting to see you include the '74 X-Plus as I just did the same thing in my vid, only received mine today but held off watching other peoples to keep it a surprise. Oh and hell yeah '74 Godzilla suit was the best, that X-Plus will always be my favourite!
Great video, enjoyed seeing your take.
Really appreciate the feedback, glad you enjoyed it ‘74 forever 😁
Awesome acquisition brotha.
Appreciate it definitely an awesome piece!!!
First comment! Awesome figure!
Thanks man, appreciate it!!!
When I was a child, my parents bought me this VHS and it was incredible. I'm glad to see that this film is not forgotten now. The figurine is incredibly well made.
Do you have any plans to make a video about your collection?
I am glad people are not forgetting about Gorgo. Doing a collection video is definitely something I can do!!!
@@gfan_eightyfour Great, I think this will be interesting to many people
I was hoping to be first to show this, but you beat me to the punch. But that's okay, you did an awesome review.
@@louisborselio8608 thanks man I appreciate that!!!
@@gfan_eightyfour You pointed out things I didn't notice with mine, so rechecked. On mine the left foot is flush to the surface, but the toes on the right foot are raised, like it's taking its next step.
Why your videos don't show in my notifications even though i turned on notifications bell
No clue brother, you know how RUclips is sometimes!!! 😔
Guess what. This figure is 33CM. I just measured it.
I figured it would be the size of the Cybot!!!
What accessor were they planning 😅
Baby Gorgo and I believe a alternate head!!!
I never liked the previous Gorgo figure with all the excessive articulation and visible points of connection. The accessories mean nothing to me. The only thing I liked is the 2 inch baby Gorgo because of the accuracy. I have the legacy comic version that also has the baby.
This giant figure as a stand alone is far more pleasing to me. I think it would be a nice idea if Titanic Creations made a 4 inch/ 10.5CM soft vinyl non articulated Gorgo to be the baby. But you really can't blame the community for lack of accessories for this giant Gorgo. I suggested, begged, and pleaded Titanic Creations to make one, just one you tube video telling people about this figure. And it never happened
