- And with that, the 2023 season comes to an end.
Sandra here; I can't emphasize enough how incredible this past year has been - hands down, the best one yet. Wrapping my head around all the amazing adventures we've had is a challenge in itself.
One major highlight for me was achieving a dream I've had since joining the Checkpoint team: securing our first shop space. It's a milestone that brings me immense joy and a sense of accomplishment. And let's not forget the cool addition of several new (to us) cars in our collection. While they might not be Porsches or Lamborghinis, these cars truly fuel my passion for the automotive world. I'm eagerly looking forward to building and enjoying them alongside some of my closest friends.
The Sandals in Japan series marked another significant milestone for me. It was a journey that added a whole new dimension to my experiences, and I'm grateful for the memories created along the way. Here's to more adventures and exciting milestones in the coming year!

Putting together the nine-episode series, "Alex in Japan," earlier this year was a fantastic experience. It not only marked a highlight in my life but also solidified that I'm on the right path, pursuing dreams that genuinely excite my younger self and make me proud of who I am.

I have been following your contect for months now and I always see your videos and I love when you pick some old jdm cars and turning them into something cool just by low them and put some wheels. I also have one old jdm car, datsun bluebird 910 wagon from 1981, way older then me because I'm from 2001. I have a friend who is into old jdm cars as whel and we like them old, rusty but looking cool cars. keep up the good work. BTW we are from Portugal.

Since I started watching this channel at the start of the year when the "New Year Touring 2022" video was released, I have watched at least 90% of the videos since then and have enjoyed every single minute of every video. I cant forget the Checkpoint Pop Up Shop 2 & 3 ! Those were probably some of my favorite events from the past few years. Also, you guys and some other local photographers sparked my interest in car photography a while back and I don't regret one bit of it, so thank you ! I'm excited to see what's in store for 2024 and Happy New Year team Checkpoint !
