In my comments I asked why the video was taken in March of 2012 and now in June of 2021 being published. You suck on this video for 9 years. And by the way all you do near 747s piece was sold for scrap metal. That is so sad they could have been a museum. I have memories of flying them from New York JFK and he threw the airport of London to mehrabad airport. Did you use GoPro cameras?
All Iran Air 747s, despite restrictions and sanctions, served for more than forty-five years and retired without falls or accidents. This is the result of the efforts of good and professional Iran Air personnel.
Choosing the right flight. Quality video, accuracy and focus on camera angling. Coordination and precise timing between pilot movements and instruments. Prior to the flight of start pushback Taxi and during the flight and approach and landing and park shutdown the aircraft. Also the good clarity and quality of cockpit sounds and air controllers. All of them are professional and commendable. It can be said with certainty: wherever there is talk of quality and professionalism, the name Viking Wings shines well. BEST WISHES FOR Viking Wings
Dear Viking Wings. All my opinions about your products and their unique quality are pure truth. The history of world aviation will always remember you and your unique works well. I am proud of you.
They even let me into the cockpit when I flew in from Narita! The Narita flight had a lot of crew on board and the pilot changed at Seoul, the transit point. NRT-ICN Capt.Shademani ICN-IKA Capt.Hamedani They were great pilots.
I'm interested to know how Iran Air gets spare components and engine maintenance for such an old aircraft. There are hardly any shops left that provide JT9D maintenance, or provide new or used engine parts.
This video was taken back in March of 2012 and now in June of 2021 is being published why so much delay? I have flown This Plane back in late 70s from New York's JFK airport as well as London's Heathrow to Tehran's mehrabad Airport. The publshed duration of this flight was 11 hours 45 minutes. Captain Farzad Goodarz is another pilot that flew 747sp. In fact he was the last pilot to fly the last 747sp . Now he flies the new Airbus I believe A330. I mainly use Sony A7, Sony a 6300, Sony RX100, and GoPro 8.
Yes it was filmed in 2012. But it has been released on Blu-ray in my webshop for years. www.vikingwings.com/ Just because I release it free on youTube now, doesn't mean it's delayed.
Has Iran Air considered inviting pilot trainees for line training after tyoecrating on these old Jets to build flying experience via Iran Air. Am sure you have a large pool of talent that can capitalize on this market niche. Where do you do your B727 training? If you have a full flight documentary video of 727 from engi e start to shit down will really appreciate it. Motashakkir!
His English was good enough for him to fulfill his duties. That’s all that matters. The proof is that Iran Air’s Boeing 747SP aircraft never had any accidents in service over a 40+ year career. That’s a first-rate safety record by any standard. So in light of this, it sounds like you’re just a bigot, with no actual, substantive, meaningful, fact-based criticism to contribute.
I filmed this video in March 2012. Have you been to Istanbul since they opened the new airport ?
I flew to O;d Atuturk Airport several times between 2017 and 2019. Also to Sabiha Gocken Airport
Ah, nice! 👍

fantastic video. why is he adjusting the throttles manually at cruise if it has autothrottles?
Thank you. It's because each engine runs a little different due to wear and tear over the years. Needs a little gentle love.

That is indeed a challenge for them.

they hire Iranian nationals only
The first officer of an international airline is unable ro speak English properly 🙄
He was flight engineer! First officer is something else.
So?

At least he works on a 747. What do you do? I sense something tiny with this guy.
What a crapy airport IKA
Why do you think so?
The name of it is bad enough 😂
