One of the best and most powerfull shows I've seen ever. If you know anything like this show( dramatic, dark, etc) please let me know, because I loved this show. I am sad that it only has a 7.6 on IMDB. I think an 8.5 was better, but I can't argue with "critics".
Kevin's father is honestly the best character on this show in my opinion. When he was talking to Kevin about how he wasn't crazy and relating that to his balls and his mind, hahaha!
Good show, and the finale was crazy and messed up in a way. It does give some perspective to if peoples loved ones just disappeared one day. How would people handle it?? The show did kind of start of slow, and at times after watching an episode you might be thinking wth was the point of that, where is this going?? But i don't think they will give us answers to many questions we have right away. Hopefully season 2, is a bit better than season one.
It was a great season finale, the whole show is great, it gives me this great "wanna see more" feeling that every show should give you. I am still afraid that they will not go on with the production :( do you IGN know if there will be a sequel for 100% ???

The creator, Damon Lindelof, said they will absolutely NEVER reveal why the people dissapeared and where they went so if that is the reason why people watch it then they will probably be pissed. It's okay though cuz I know what happened. The black smoke did it lol. (If you watched lost then you will know what that means.)

I disliked this show up until around the 7th episode. You really have to give it a chance because now I really like it. It's not an easy show to watch, but neither was Breaking Bad at times. Someone described it as prolonged Twilight Zone episode and that made it click for me. It's this weird other worldly event without explanation, but it's about how people react and behave to this event that's fascinating.

+Brannon H JJ Abrams actually only directed and cowrote the pilot episode and then left in season 1 to do movies. JJ Abrams did consulting and cowrote the season 3 premier but did nothing on the show after that. It was basically all Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse.
Just a thought , when the people disappear , they were taken with their clothes and wallets watches etc , which in turn you would think the body alone should disappear and leave behind their belongings , hence their were no leftovers from the departed , just saying ???

So uh..What was the deal with the dogs the dog shooter the guy who could take away pain what wish did he grant how did he die in the bathroom? What was with the asian girls and the babies? Who are voices Kevin's dad heard? What was with Kevin blacking out and going crazy? What was with the deer? Whats the significance of "Its a girl"? What was the deal with the National Geographic? I can't think of any more. Im tired.
1. They talked about animals going crazy after the departure in the show. 2. Just a crazy dude that decided to clean the town from crazy dogs. 3. He was the real deal (because he knew everything about Nora's pain). 4. The wish he granted was that Garvey family would unite again. 5. This wasn't answered anywhere. 6. Most likely he hoped to better the chances of one of his descendants inheriting his powers. 7. Maybe the voices of people he have killed before (like in Kevin's case). 8. He just inherited the shizophrenic behavior from his father. 9. This also wasn't answered anywhere. 10. I don't think it has significance. 11. Idk.
i think the answer about " it's a girl " mystery is that Kevin and Lorie would've a baby girl , as you know she was pregnant before the departure . maybe it was a sign or something that's just my guess :) i might be wrong

thegombie At least Lost had a point. Get off the island, or learn to live with the island. At least this is what it was in the first couple of seasons, live together or die alone, that sort of thing. With the Leftovers the only things the characters face is trying to understand and remember what happened, or move on and forget. The hole things feels really horribly thrown together.
ok. good for you man. I loved the series. I want to read the book. I care about the caracters as much as I would care about a real person. It's simply amazing in my opinion!!! Everyone has it's own opinion. If you don't like it don't watch it. You shouldn't watch 10 episodes of a series to see if you like it or not. And with this series you pretty much like it or hate it. There is no middle ground.

The finale was an emotional roller coaster ... loved it ! As for next season i'm hoping that they explore the supernatural aspect of the show

Masterpiece, this show started slow but paid off on so many levels with the last 3 episodes

Finale was best episode of the season but it doesn't compete with Game of Throne, Boardwalk Empire or even The Knick

He was a co-creater with JJ Abrams, and Abrams was more of the leader until he left during season 4 or 5 I believe to do some movies
