I a few years ago I traveled from St. Paul, Minnesota to Vancouver, Canada while on peritoneal dialysis. The preparation and everything went well, but the main challenge was to travel with the heavy dialysis machine. My son came with me to help, but still traveling with the heay machine was a problem. Have they not yet manufactured smaller dialysis machines that are suitable for airline travel?
I had a big 70 lbs machine. I have not seen anything small yet
Did you get your whole shipment of dialysate sent to your destination or only what you needed for your trip?
What size is the suitcase for the machine?
Who did you show your doctors note to?
Question was your machine loud at the hotel.🙏🏽❤️
It make some noise but not very loud
Wait, the universal connector connects between frensius and baxter machines? Where can I get one?
Do you have DAVITA in your town. It’s a dialysis center your social worker will help you get connected or talk to your kidney doctor. Do you live in USA
Where did you get your travel size Alcavis and except bottles
Hey I believe at the time I got them from my nurse.
Do you have drain pain
LIFE. OF NATURE yes. I used to have this. I would quickly bypass it
Which airline you were on?
@@randytv2.052 hello, I believe it was American Airlines
@@randytv2.052 and I showed my doctors not to the attendant who checked my bag for the airline. I don’t think they will ask I can’t remember. It might be a HIPPA thing
Hi how your energy level are you very tired or do you have energy
LIFE. OF NATURE I had a transplant 5 months ago. But on Pd I was tired. Sleeping late. I never been on hemo.
@@mirandanicole. congrats on your transplant !!!!!
