At the begining he said "fuelled by couscous", I smiled a bit. I'm from the Northeast of Brazil, and couscous is an essential food here, but the main differences, I believe, is that ours is made with cornmeal and we write it "cuscuz". Also the portuguese were the ones who brought it from North Africa to Brazil. We've been eating couscous for a few centuries and it became a staple food in my region, since it's a cheap, tasty and filling meal for people living on the countryside to get through the hardships of the day, specially considering that we also live on a region with an arid climate. Thank you, Amazigh people of North Africa, for giving us such an awesome food!

I then learned from my father that he’s not even an Arab, but Italian, born in Syria by Italian parents and raised as a Syrian. @itheri0675 5 лет назад +3

@Junaid Islam The dominating viewpoint among Amazigh militants is the one of a secular society which tolerates all faiths as well as their absence. However, it does not require too much efforts to realize that Arabism and Islamism are both sides of a same coin. This means that one cannot eradicate the Arabian virus without eradicating the Islamic one. By the way, the Arabian language was invented at the same time as the Quran. The word "Quran" was derived from the word "Syrian", and the language of the Quran is a mixture between Syriac, Aramaic and Hebrew languages, thus giving rise to what shall be called later the (classical) Arabic language.

@@thidetculture3147 no its not a berber state, Carthaginians were invaders from Lebanon which invaded and colonized North Africa and then founded an empire. Berbers were just soldiers during this time.. they had no command and no special statute. The berbers founded 2 empires in the centuries from 1060 to 1260, the Almoravid and Almohad dynasties.
Thats the only 2 empires founded and governed by berbers. The Almoravid empire extended from Senegal to Portugal including Morocco, Mauritania half Algeria and half Mali.
The Almohads conquered almost all north africa and half of Iberic peninsula.
