I like what they both are doing in this series. The thing is, I've been playing this game since 2012. And I want to say that all SFIV players should keep up to this playstyle. The problem is that because of the online-random dummies (you know, DPs, jumps, yolo-ultras) you sometimes are feeling yourselves like: 1)How's that work? 2)What the hell is he/she doing? 3)Why am I falling for this again and again? You start playing like'em doing all the stuff in the world but it doen't work. Entering the wtf-mode,a lot of players starting to lose themselves, or spoil their playstyle with tons of bad habits. These bad habits are revealing when you're playing against the opponents of higher caliber than you. So, in conclusion we got: 1) You're losing to yoloers 2)You're losing to a more-skilled opponents. 3)You 're losing your way of playing this game. The first thing you need to do is realise what is wrong with you. By that i mean: -your AA game; -your zoning game; -your footsie game; -your defence; -your offence; -your EXECUTION; Please don't lie to yourself. If your execution is ass, then it needs work. Not like that "Yeah,yeah,yeah I' try to land X and Y and then go online". The only thing you should care of is consistency. The same goes with other thing I aformentioned. The second thing you should do is to understand what playstyle fits with you (I recommend some sort of defence, though. It's a great tool to concentrate on your mistakes) -Rushdown-heavy; -Tempered rushdown; -Tempered defence; -Defence-heavy; Choose a character. As for me, I dislike having 2-3 heroes. I just like to take a character and see if I have a great time with him/her/Poison. 1)Watching footage from the pro-scene really affects your understanding of how character works. 2)You should realise weaknesses of your character (HP, stun, normals etc.) 3)Hit the lab with him/her/Poison 4)Go online. BEWARE: you will be losing a lot since you may be do not have a lot of experience with the character/playstyle! Don't crack! 5)As i mentioned before, you better start with defence-characters. Try to react on everything your opponent does. Watch for AAs etc. (You can even say to yourself (in your head) something like"Anti-air or DP/St.hp/Ultra) 6)And then you may try playing agressive (Sagat,Vega are very good characters for that) And oneday you will eventually be a great player (At least, I hope so) Sorry if I did some mistakes here. All they play is turtle fighter 24/7 cause it's the only best fighting game so bored with this since 08 but I love these two when they play tho,just hope SFV they don't have huge steroids feet and hands, I miss how SF use to look like in 3rd strike normal without the big ass hands & feet

He means playing the game in a technically sound way. being patient, playing footsies, zoning, utilizing meter well, making smart reads, playing low risk high reward. When they say stuff like I lost to this guy cause he ain't playing street fighter, they mean that person was being really unpredictable doing very risky or silly things you'd never see in high level play, but totally catching them off guard because they 'respected' their opponent and assumed they wouldn't do such a thing
