Everyone asking about check engine lights on these cars.... For minor upgrades the car doesn't need a tune. They can handle about 50hp or so of internal computer tuning all on their own. As long as the light isn't blinking feel free to drive the car. The light, if it comes one should go off between 50-100 miles. This is how long it takes the computer to relearn on its own. If you install a new part drive the car like it's brand new and your doing the engine break-in process of the 0-300 miles. Nothing over 3500rpm and use gentle power gains and slow braking. I see so many videos of people running out there tossing on intakes or doing these mid muffler deletes and just beating on the car or redlining it "to see how it sounds" and that's how you break the car. Ive seen videos of the cars just going into limp mode. The car is protecting itself from damage plus the computers literally just recorded your stupidity and when Dodge looks at warranty items they have a good reason to decline it. If you install parts or do the mid muffler delete please don't beat on the car for at least 50 miles. Drive it around and let the computer learn the new fuel/air ratios.

How did you get rid of the check engine light?
You'll need a tune bad. The cat over temp settings in the stock tune are going to see the increased air flow with no cats as they are overheated and its going to pull tons of timing, boost and run you rich. This is a HORRIBLE thing to do with these cars. You will need a tune asap to turn off cat over temp.
