When I was a little girl, my daddy owned a record store and as soon as you walked in, the first thing you would notice straight ahead on the wall was a painting of Chaka Khan's lips....yes, her lips. Above her lips, was Chaka Khan in a script font. 😄 I remember that my daddy loved him some Chaka Khan and I always adored her. Through the Fire is one of my top 10 R&B songs. I really hate that my daughter's generation does not have such incredible artists like this who are unique, gifted, and extraordinary. I grew up with the BEST music of all time and so many incredible women and men who wrote the melodies for my life.
Ms Khan is one Diva who keeps it real. I love her and fell in love with her since 1974 when Rufus was riding high on Tell Me Something Good. We’re close in age so it was surprising to me when I found that out.
Mama Z greeting family. I am the same age as Chaka and been back stage at many of her concerts. As a aTv entertainment producer. She is a legend who true story needs to be told in a tv movie and book. But my dilemma is that these talk shows talk to people who are legendary in a time of the old where the new have no respect for their talent if talking on these shows bring the legendary to life it good. But these talk shows become boring they talk to much on nothing important like Chaka said base on women today. Show more of their God gift and less boring talk. We talk to much on these shows about nothing related to my grand girls. the pass is good for the old. But this generation live in in false lies and fake control as Konye speak. Is it more propaganda being promoted on these shows or have anyone person check to see who has the insurance policy on these performer s because to many of my children are dying and no one sees it speak on truth but feed off the wealth off the backs of these young people talk about the drugs abuse in the industry how young performers are dying these faint truth tell some truth it not all cherry roses as My son Konye West spoke Prince. Michael Jackson spoke the truth. Where are they dead. By what means drugs. Why they dead the two greatest artist of all times. I love Jennifer as a performer a music producer of new talent not this talk show crop. Boring I grow up in Detroit MotownUSA Grand River and 9 miles singing. Let me real. God gave these beautiful women a talent to be reproductive not be scandalous. I am aware that Jennifer Hudson I expect more than talk stop waiting her gift. They are everywhere woman Imhotep is

So, it is possible that Steven approached Chaka by that same time. We never know. Afterwards, Tina Turner was also approach up until that part ended up in Whoopi Goldberg's lap. So, let's cut the "Chaka's high' bullshit here, ok?
Chaka still has the voice…the talent… the withitness
I really do think Jennifer has the most interesting people in her schow so far!
First, Ms. Khan is a VOCAL FORCE OF LIFE!!! Secondly she’s also raw, strong & possibly a lot to deal with, but I definitely respect her talent & HONESTLY & I think she’s soo ADORABLE!!!
Lol Chaka is hilarious lol her sense of humor is charming 😂 can’t take her too serious but you know she’s not lying either lol
My favorite of Chaka Khan IS " Through the fire, through the limit".

She's a legend always down to earth
And always beautiful
I just love Chaka Khan. She is definitely one of a kind.
Truth Indeed
Ms Khan is one Diva who keeps it real. I love her and fell in love with her since 1974 when Rufus was riding high on Tell Me Something Good. We’re close in age so it was surprising to me when I found that out.
Me too👍🏾😀
Mama Z greeting family. They are everywhere woman Imhotep is
Saw Chaka and Rufus when I was carrying my oldest son who recently turned 49.
My favorite singer. The GOAT, powerhouse, brick house and the gloriously fabulous Chaka Khan. 😍💝🌸❤️🔥

Chaka Khan is gorgeous and I think Nicki Minaj looks like her a young version. Her voice is beautiful and I'm so glad it she's getting her flowers now.
