COMPLETE UNRELATED POLL: ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBd-MBpp7bhlmc9aWNsflIgrpFD2fVpTA Hello everyone, welcome back to Age of Wonders 4! Today, the Lord of the Sacred Land continues to cleanse the Umbral Abyss by purging Umbral Nests at 27:48 and 55:40 and acquiring the power of fellow deity Shu at 1:24:50 to freeze away the Gloom tiles that have encroached upon his domain. After discovering the dwindling presence of Rykarth at 1:44:18 and rescuing Nuln's Vassal from Teron Gorefiend moments later, the stage is set to move against the Godir that obstruct his duty -- thanks for watching!
Restore Land does, but won't work if there's mountains. Gloom seems to create mountains on occasion by my observation. Earth Shatter won't clear gloom but can clear the way for Restore Land
This is a random thing but I feel like after one of the major changes the game feels too slow for me. I always enjoy watching the Videos but playing it for myself it just seems to drag on now to the point that I just lose interest in campaigns. But you're campaigns are always enjoyable.
i agree but its not a new thing for me. the pleasure of playing AoW4 is in "proof of concept". once i've demonstrated the effectiveness of my build through conquest of one empire or something there's not much else for me compared to a new playthrough where i can start that process anew.

29:05 You can integrate the demonic city and then migrate it to cleanse it :)
Ohhh, that's true! I don't think I'll use this on Thornkroth, but Littlespring is looking like a mighty backdoor. (:
I believe ANY terraforming spell removes gloom.
That was not the case when I tested it in the pre-build, but I can check again!

Bone Dragon? I think you meant "Boned" Dragon.
Accurate.
It's a shame Ra's whole faction was wiped out. You could have recruited a new "Ra."
Murozond was quite thorough in his eradication. :c
👻👻👻👻👻 keep up the great stuff fabe
😊
37:50 Why did you not use Sleep of Oblivion on the Magebane first, then Overchannel for one of the Tyrants? You burned all your castig points.
Ahhh, that's where they all went! I know it's not exactly new, but my brain still thinks of the old Magebane where I just can't cast spells. XD
Ice with a Egyptian god, this will be interesting.
5:12 Yes, it is "Welcome to the Internet."
As for getting rid of the foul infestations from the umbrals, wouldn't Enchanted Bloom (Tome of Paradise) convert *any* terrain into grasslands?
It does, but you can have Gloomy grasslands. As far as I'm aware, the only things that override Gloom are Ice and Desolate terrain.
