I'm surprised the demand for Eva's services in big production films has not increased before 300. She was terrific in Golden Compass and as a Bond girl but interest seemed to dip a bit as she was doing televison aftward. I was telling people two years ago she would have made a better Talia Al Ghul in Dark Knight Rises than Marion Cotillard. I look forward to seeing her in Sin City. If they were looking for a female Sith in the new Star Wars movies Eva would be excellent for such a role.
there was demand for her, but she prefers to do small budget movies and independent films.. you should respect her decision to stay away from big budget movies most of the time.. it's one of the main reasons I love her so much

The fact is that in Europe we are taught to learn English with a "standard" accent. This accent is neither British nor American. Personally, I speak English with an English accent, but I've learnt so only making studies and researches, not influenced by my teachers (Sources: I'm Italian!).

I love that that she's not only the sexiest movie villain we've seen in recent years, but she has this strong English accent and she's not even British. That's so weird and fascinating to me at the same time.
She studied English in England and America when she was younger so I think her accent has stuck a little bit. She also said that she trained for a long time filming Casino Royale to perfect her British accent and that it's stayed with her since.
So beautiful. So talented and a nice lady as well. In other words, she's got it all! I think she's fantastic.
I am glad that she's not in love with xerxes that would've been stupid, sometimes it is better to take some liberties with history for the sake of the story and characters

The script for the second movie is terrible.
The dude interviewing her is perhaps the biggest goon I have ever seen in real life. He is so epicly dorkish, you'd think he was a fictional character. AMAZING!

Did she ever get her French accent back? I know when she played in Casino Royal she lost her accent for a while, but did she ever get it back? I don't know very much about the French accent except for the traditionally thick accent that you hear in movies, but I imagine not everyone in France shares the same accent, just like not everyone in America shares the same accent, so for anyone who knows about French dialect could you tell me if her native accent has returned.
