This song reminds me of all the hours I spent traveling the back roads with my grandmother. She got me into some of the outlaw country guys while still enjoying the best of the main stream singers. She even went to a few country concerts back in the day from what I remember. listening to your take actually made me listen to the lyrics.

ATR super dropped the ball on this one and they should be ashamed of themselves for being so bold as a metal band doing a country song and daring to successfully chart on the Rock billboard with it.
