Hello my old friend! Wow I loved watching this video it's right up my alley. I love the famicom and also it's shmups. There's so much i want to address. Lets start at the beginning - I too have that sexy ascii stick it's great. I have several of the Micomsoft sticks but you're right, for some reason the XE1-FC is is super rare and expensive so havnt got that one. I wish I could get an auto fire adaptor for thr nes fourscore to use Ascii stick with. Zanac is indeed awesome on the famicom and I was surprised at the black magic Compile was able to pull off with the msx version. When you held those three black carts in your hand before showing I was wondering if you were going to show Recca!..haha thats the last shmup I need for system and I think that boat may have sailed as price is ridiculous now. Abadox is sooo good and has so much variety and is brutal as hell. I always say to people it's the best value for money shmup on nes as it's cheap on that system. I have abadox loose on famicom but managed to get a really high quality plastic clamshell minibox with very nice quality insert from a guy in Russia on ebay afew years back. His user name was 'bitpixel'. Got custom boxes for crisis force, final mission and a bunch of others. I was very lucky to get a CIB of SDF for around $60 while back. It's hard as balls I agree..I wonder if there is a custom chip in that oversized cart? I love the Namco clamshell boxes too and have all the ones you showed. I also have Rolling Thunder 3 on Genesis. .easily the best Genesis exclusive game. Can't believe you've got through all these years not playing a splatterhouse game!?!? haha.. you'll enjoy wanpaku graffiti! When you said Hitler No Fukkatsu reminded you of Bionic Commando it's because it was re-skinned for Nes. It's mad eh.. but remember you fight a robot Hitler head in the last boss battle of Download 2 on PCE! Thats next level crazy haha. I'm stoked to have got the rare cartridge of Castlevania for famicom. Youve inspired me fire up Gunsmoke again, it's been awhile. I've had the most fun collecting for famicom than any other system just given the sheer amount of hidden gems. Great to see you mate and enjoy those games on the big red.

Speaking of sticks I was meant to say also that I still use my beloved modded pce hori stick you sorted for me! Afew other famicom games I really rate are - Over Horizon, Tetrastar, Gun Dec, holy diver, lickle, Don Doko Don 2, juju, kabuki fighter, mitsume ga tooru, dragon fighter, power blade., crossfire...and the list goes on. The pal exclusive port of the orginal Turrican is also the best there is. Way better than the Genesis and PC engine versions. I have the same size pvm you have there next to the fammy twin.. literally saved it from getting thrown in a skip when an office block nextdoor to work was cleaning out. Couldn't believe my luck.
