First time ever doing this (I have hybrid sport touring so my grill is already blacked out). The first straight took me an hour, had too many bubbles, but I was able to get them all out., then the rest of the straights took about 20 minutes each, got the hang of it and fairly easy to do. That back window is the devil to work with though (even following the steps of this video), took an hour just to get it aligned only for it to be all wrinkled up on the corner. I'll be attempting to do the second side today....but I already know I'm going to have to re-reorder this kit again just for the one rear corner. I think I over stretched it as the wrinkles are not coming out.
@@STARAirsoft1 I personally did, just made it easier to tuck. Putting it back was a pain to get it to look straight again. You'll see what I mean if you attempt to do it.
Very talented, you make it look sooo simple. Thanks for sharing 🤙🏽 I have a question, what setting are you using for the heat gun? My has lo and high heat and three blower speeds, low medium and high.
The heat gun we have has only 2 heat settings. We usually use the low heat to avoid burning the film. For your specific heat gun, you can use medium blower speed with low settings. Hope that helps.
Thanks that’s an excellent tip. I got those heat guns for removing the 114 years of paint off my house. They get very hot but have a nice gentle settings also. Looking forward to a chrome delete project this summer and your kit looks like the Cream of the Crop. When finished we’ll mellow out on the rocky Maine coast, digging that dark film coolness where the chrome lays hidden. 🤙🏽🪩 Thanks for Sharing Bogar Tech Design, really enjoyed the RUclips Channel.👀👍🏽
Damn bro. Couldn’t hit us with the walk-around shot after it was installed?
Great job explaining this process! Thanks

Did you remove the gasket on the doors?

I also have a Sport CRV. Did you end up getting it done and how did it come out?

What kind of vinyl is used for the kit? 3M 1080 or 2080?
Doubt it
Do you sell the pre cut window pieces
Would this CR-V kit fit a 2023 hybird sport touring?
Based on the trim of the touring, the kit should fit the 2023 Hybrid Touring.
bro, I can't see you in the dark now. but nice work BTW
Where i can buy
Yes do you sell the precut pieces for us to buy ?
It’s in the bio
It doesn't seem to match the pillars which is flat black.
but it does the match the WHEELS and ROOF rack which is GLOSS BLACK.....(would rather match it to those than the matte pillars IMHO)
@@kendallhughes7507what did you end up doing Kendall? I’m lost on to either do matte or glossy vynil
doing it soon (likely within the next month) and have already bought the GLOSS black tape! 👍
@@kendallhughes7507 thanks!
What about the chrome? Does it match the matte pillars?
