@@BikeLikeMike92 that's good news. While it's not what any of us want when touring Europe it will be interesting to watch how it all works out and how you got back home and hopefully get your bike back🤞
I was on a TeapotOne Chicken Strips Tour in September and I'm sure you guys came past us at a Toll Stop. A guy on a Tuono pulled a nice wheelie leaving.
@@BikeLikeMike92 aha! Yes, it was a great tour. I've yet to watch ep 2 but sorry your bike broke! Europe hasn't been kind to you this year ☹️ here's hoping next year is a great one for you 👍
Great vid! You're not having much luck in France lately.... The route des Grandes Alpes is on my list, the company I work for has it's headquarters near Nice, so I could maybe get it done as part of a business trip 😛
Gorgeous roads and shit luck. Sounds like a knackered c/chain tensioner. Had one go on my r1 and sounded the same. What was wrong with it ? Great vid though and hope you sort it. 🤙
Cheers man, it’s actually still in France so haven’t had a chance to check what’s up with it! I hope it’s a cam chain tensioner as it the best of the bunch of things it’s likely to be 😅 thanks for watching!
@@SBKPete tell me about it! Not sure yet… could be one of three things I think. I’m hoping it’s the cam chain tensioner as that’s the easiest and cheapest one 😂😭
Sticking to speed limits ;-) Thanks for taking us along.
In France there’s speed limits!? Oops 🙊
Loooong wheelies can cause oil starvation. Which will cause big end failures. Hope it's not self inflicted.
It’s completely possible 😐
@@BikeLikeMike92 Fingers crossed that if it was still running it be repairable
@mars0030 🤞
Looking forward to episode 2. Hopefully you had European breakdown insurance to help you out. Hope it's not too expensive to fix
Thanks! Yes, luckily I did have it! Fingers crossed it’s not the complete end of the MT 🤞

I’ll update everyone when I eventually get it back 😂
Absolutely bloody loved this video (up until your bike died😢) my friend and I were in the same area a few days apart from you on our KTM’s.
Thanks! I have a bit more footage before it actually dies haha and of my slow demise being pushed down the road. 😅 thanks for watching
How this video makes me so want to go on a bike trip now !!! Without the breakdown of course !
Do it! Just get breakdown cover in case 😅

Yeah that would have been us, I saw you guys in the channel tunnel and assumed he was leading a tour or something like that! Hope you had a good tour!

Haha thanks, it happens! Especially when you ride a bit like we do 🫣

Thank you! Heard that a few times lately! 😂 you should! It’s a stunning route fast or relaxed and sounds like you already have a reason to do it!
Spun bearing mate, happened to my r1 too.... bad luck mate.( hope i am wrong for you )
Yea… we will see! Haven’t got it back yet to diagnose it.
Gutted for you... Maybe this is a calling for an upgrade
I think it’s a sign. 😅

50% of NGK spark plugs online are fake, many videos online to spot fake versus genuine NGK plugs
Yea we came to this conclusion too. Didn’t last long!
Blimey, you’re not having much luck. Any idea what the issue is?

Fingers crossed buddy 🤞🏻
Sounds like a GS now!…
40+ years in the trade and that sounds expensive to me🫣😬
Yeah I’d say that as well with hardly any experience 😅
@@BikeLikeMike92 Terminal in fact!
Nah, it’s never terminal!
