Hi Harry, I'm new to the Jeti ecosystem (and gyros) and your videos have been invaluable in setting up my new DS24ii with the Rex12 assist. I'm using an FMS Pitts to learn about all this. All has gone well (3 position SW SE, on/off SD and all gains on P8) everthing seems to work in the correct direction except for the rudder that looks on the bench to operate in the wrong direction. What have I missed? I mean the normal flying controls (ail/elev/rudd) are corect it is only the gyro correction that is wrong.
Are you sure it is wrong? Pop the gyro into heading mode, that way it holds the control and you get time to see which way it is going. The FMS Pitts 1400 v2 is a great model, you can just see the bottom of the left wheel and spat of it above my head in the video!
Quick question, I know is too early to tell, but is the silk-screened lettering improved adhesion? The V1 is known for the lettering/numbers to peel off on the carbon fiber panels.
Hi Harry, I just received a DS-24 and confused after watching your description of the difference between old and new. My Tx has a front face like what you indicate is new, yet controls on the side and back like the "old"? Not sure what I have... bought it from JETI as a "demo" unit. Jerry

Gday Harry. With the future wifi/bluetooth updates do you think the tx can be updated and programs installed with only using your phone and not needing a computer at all?
Annoyed that they removed the back plate sliders. 24 channels with 8 proportional encoders… where you actually have to take your hands off main controls to operate 7 and 8. Don’t like… The rest is nice upgrades
A bit of a shame that it is not possible to upgrade your old DS-24. Being able to send in your old one and get a new screen and software. Would be willing to pay a fair amount but i am not willing to buy a new one. It's a bit of a one time investment.
@@cotswoldpilot ?No off course not. This is how commerce works, i understand. Just saying that probably a lot of people would upgrade their old 24 in comparison to a lot off people buying an new one.

Seems a bit more nonsense than anything really. My DS-24 is just fine. If it had a touchscreen then maybe then it could be considered. I’ll wait until 2033 for the next update.

What bug are you referring to?
@@jeffworsham8240 While programing expo or dual rate, if you touch the stick, values reset automatically to 0% and 100% respectively.
