Tony stark ,the man who started it all(MCU). He is charming, confidence, cocky, genius and sassy who doesnt like tony stark.Everyone loves him you will see it in the upcoming movies. The only hero who ditched the old superhero identity like spiderman, superman etc,,because it is a expected thing that all superheros dont reveal their identity, thats what makes him special about him
22:30 I think in their point of view, it's an unidentified vehicle flying through their war zone. It could carry a bomb, or is a spy drone or something, so they have to shoot it down just to be save.
"I am Iron Man." Fun Fact: During filming, a tank accidentally ran over an Aaton 35mm camera. Stan Lee Cameo Fact: Comic writer Stan Lee appears at Tony Stark's party playing the role of Hugh Hefner, accompanied by three blonde women. Lee later mentioned that it was his most fun cameo. What Script Fact: "I am Iron Man" was ad-libbed by Robert Downey Jr.. Producer Kevin Feige approved using it in the final cut of the film and credits this with his decision to largely do away with secret identities in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Practical Over CGI Fact: Although originally planned as a completely digital suit, the Stan Winston Studio Iron Man team built a "real" Mark I suit that wound up performing over 80% of the Mark I shots in the final film. From the first film test to flamethrowers blazing real fire, the Mark I suit was a pivotal creation that would set the tone for the Iron Man franchise's fantastic blend of both digital and practical techniques to bring Tony Stark's armor to life. The Iron Man Mark I armor weighed ninety pounds. Burger King Connection Fact: In an interview with Britain's Empire Magazine, Robert Downey Jr. thanked Burger King for helping him get straight in 2003, with a car full of drugs. He had a burger that was so disgusting, it made him rethink his life, and dump the drugs in the ocean. He repeats this, with his impromptu sit-down session with the press, upon his return from captivity. Burger King also promoted the film with toys based on this movie, as well as the sequel. On a personal note, I actually love Burger King. Casting Notes Fact: Paul Bettany recorded all of his lines as J.A.R.V.I.S. (Just A Rather Very Intelligent System) in two hours. According to Paul Bettany, he did not know on which film he was working. He merely did the job as a favor for director Jon Favreau. Paul Bettany has never seen the film, and is unfamiliar with the plot. He said J.A.R.V.I.S. was the easiest job ever, and it was almost like a robbery, since he only worked for two hours, got paid a lot of money, then went on vacation with his wife Jennifer Connelly.
Woah he was acting Huch Hefner hahah cool!! Thank you so much for sharing all this!! Love to hear the lore and random facts after watching a movie like this!! Can't believe it tho with Burger King 😶 I like it too!!
Lirtzie ....Yeah, it's a shame that Burger King isn't what it was. I still love their food. However the physical stores could use a face-lift. Go with God and Be Safe from Evil. 😎 👍
Hi Lirtzie, great to see you again!🙂This is my favorite single origin story in the MCU films!🏆Tony's encounter with Yinsen when he was captive really changed his life. You caught on quickly about the power of the Mini Arc Reactor on his chest. Tony's character grows on you after a while. I'm glad you are continuing your MCU journey. There are some EXCELLENT films to come! There are usually two end credit scenes for MCU films. Just an F.Y.I. Great reactions to your first Iron man film, Lirtzie!!!!🎬👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hi Mike 🥳 Thank you for the kind words!! Looking forward to watch the rest of them. And I hope you guys are right, that Tony will grow on me the more I see of him 😁
There is an after credits scene. A lot of the mcu movie have mid credits scenes and after credits scenes so I would advise watching till credits end for this movie and future mcu movies.
This was great! Iron Man was really good. I saw this in theaters and I had a blast watching it. 2008 was such a fantastic year in films, when it comes to comic book movies; Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, and The Dark Knight. I'm looking forward to your Incredible Hulk reaction.
Thank you Slade!! Hulk is gonna be an interesting movie to share hahah. I know that the overall thought about the movie is not the best. So we will see how it goes 🥳
he was in their air space/fly zone, as they saw it so they fired. it's true there are some gaping plot holes- he couldnt make a thing like that with one assistant, also he should have made a dummy missile, in the cave to throw them off the scent, I doubt an electro magnet would keep shrapnel out of his heart. BUT its all fun glossy & well made.
You're about to start an incredible cinematic journey. "I Am Iron Man" sparked one of the greatest universes ever and I'm so glad that you're about to join this amazing universe. Please enjoy it.
Lirtze nice video of iron man this is my single origin story in mcu film good to see you btw iron man is first move which i saw from marvel studios great reactions to your first iron man movie 🎉👏🏼
The US Air Force fires on Iron Man because he is a flying over Afghanistan, where at this time the US had set a no fly zone (if you fly over their warzone without their permission they will tell you land and arrest you and if you don't they will assume you are an enemy and shoot you down). A big part of how America fights wars is by establishing air superiority... if they are the only ones with things in the air they have a massive advantage against whomever they are fighting. Tony violated that no fly zone and then didn't answer any of the incoming radio traffic telling him to land and surrender. You definitely want to hang around for the after credits scenes as well, they often tie together the movie with other movies in the overall MCU story. It's ok to not like Tony. He is a very flawed character who is full of himself and, as he said, has a laundry list of character defects. He isn't intended to be a perfect guy, he is flawed. But, both this movie and the MCU as a whole is about character development and how they change over time. Arrogant to self-sacrificing hero is a pretty common archetype for the superheroes (but certainly not all of them). Don't worry about watching Thor out of order, it will be fine (the after credits on that one hint at later stuff so maybe rewatch that end credit when you get to that point)
welcome to the MCU..its a long journey and i hope you continue it til you caught up with us..this is Phase 1 with 6 movies (Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, and the Avengers..we are currently in Phase 5..just enjoy the journey..stick with the release order, look out for Stan Lee cameos, stay to all the credit scenes..again, enjoy..
Exactly right. The US has a no fly zone to establish air superiority over the whole combat zone. No one can fly there without a military reaction. They attempted to contact him via radio and he didn't answer. They tried to identify him... even when his friend called him to confirm he wouldn't tell them... so they had to assume it was a hostile.
@@Lirtzie Not stupid at all. Things like that are encapsulated in one sentence or two in movies like this just assuming you know what they mean when they say it... it isn't strange that you don't know it though.
Hi Maine!! I have seen Thor (have a reaction of it) and then the first Guardians of the galaxy movie. And then the Toby Mcguire Spider-man (reactions also). Working on Incredible Hulk right now for the channel
Just so you know, there are about as many Marvel movies outside of the MCU as there are inside it. Which about 30 inside and 30 outside. And then there's the various TV series type shows, including the ones from Netflix. So quite a bit of Marvel content out there.
Not liking Tony Stark is ok. In the comics the character of Tony Stark is really unlikable. In the MCU Robert Downey Jr kept some creative ownership of the character and made Tony a more likable person but he has to grow as a character. I usually tell people Tony Stark usually makes the wrong choices before making the right choice. Downey and Jon Favreau made the character arc of Tony Stark more rounded and in the end a better character to like. A truly good guy. In the comics he is just not that. Iron Man is good whomever is in the suit but Tony is at best an ass. He is written to be really unlikable but works out doing the right thing or the really wrong thing. The MCU really combines this character with another Avengers character from the 1960s in writing but takes out all the ugliness in personality that was written in the comics.

The film that started the MCU And changed the way we look at superhero movies forever.
it was really the incredible hulk since tony came in the post credits
22:30 I think in their point of view, it's an unidentified vehicle flying through their war zone. It could carry a bomb, or is a spy drone or something, so they have to shoot it down just to be save.
Adding to that - it's a "no fly zone" which means any air craft that is not identified and approved to be there is considered an enemy target.
