I believe there is a glitch in this demo: setting the AppSheet data source to require SSL doesn't work. I only managed to have it working setting SSL = None, which requires to configure the GCloud SQL instance to accept non-SSL connections. I suppose that connecting with SSL would require AppSheet be provided with our instance's certificate. So far, couldn't find where this can be done.
