I never knew these guys are from Houston. Hate me was a track that really has stayed with me since I first heard a long time ago. This songs speaks to me rn as I need to get rid of alot of toxic shit from with in me. And I love that they're Houstonians just like me
No doubt a GREAT song. With that said, i DO LOVE their / Justin's newer version. I've always liked blue October. But I have found NEW love for them in Justin's vocal change or maybe vocal training or maybe he better found how to use his AMAZING vocals. Epic band. I saw them live I believe it was 12/28/2019 Las Vegas. To be honest, my GF got is 8th row center stage. No BS. I in fact slet right there in my seat for the first 3 acts. I asked to my GF telling me the were coming on. He and I began to take a picture of US. After the shot, she was going over the pix. And low and behold a haggard ass photo bombing heffer jumped in behind us. We wouldn't have know if she didn't curiously check right there. I won't lie. I did call her on it to her guy. As, she being a woman and I a man. In her late 40s maybe 50s. Im 41. I say because I am not a punk. Not some young kid messing around with others because i wouldn't know better. She couldn't stop laughing like an asshole. Didn't apologize. I did tell HER not her guy though directly in front of him... Is all good. You as an adult have the right and are capable of making ANY decision or choice you seem fit. As do I. After thumping on your man friend in front of you, know this, I WILL wait right here. I won't apologize, I will face the police. I have NO problem answering & atoning for my actions. That said, be it tonight, tomorrow or never... He will say something to you. Your character,ethics,emotions for him WILL be question. At some they will. He very vocally said he was sorry. I did implore with true sincerity, thank you. That DOES speak TONS of you, who you are. You do seem very genuine, a good person. Out of curiosity, I have to say, you did nothing wrong. I understand your apology. I do. Don't feel or think or ever apologize for another's indiscretion. In doing so, you are saying you are beneath, below that person. As a man, it IS very big to apologize. I never Asked either of them to apologize. I only had to acknowledge to her of her sub par behavior. I only said what I did in reciprocation to low brow attitude. The woman instigated the situation. How can we learn without making mistakes. How do you fix a mistake.... Don't do it again ... She obviously never learned that. In it all, I wasn't going to do anything. My GF was uncomfortable, distressed because she so excited to see the band. She bought us the great seats. Both she and I love the band . As a loving BF, I did what any respectful/ loving person would do. Simply communicate. I never yelled. Never got upset or mad. Ultimately, later she apologized. I did say, all good. But I think you should save it for your guy. I am sure he is uncomfortable, distressed as my GF was with regard to your demeanor. I did say, everything is fine. Water under the bridge. Maybe, actually listen to Justin's Actual lyrics in his songs. They all tell a story. A very real story. Life events, the feelings that too arise. He does in fact tell it as it is. Wether they are involving himself or not. Wether he himself have ever been I the position or not. Just listen to it. His words long Ago did open my eyes my mind. They are very powerful
