"Kiss, kiss, kiss the go-goat." The word "kiss" played backwards is "six," so "6-6-6." The Devil is in the details. Literally.
This was Papa Nihil's release back in the late 60's. Nil was a sexually charged individual, very passionate and loved his psychodelic rock.

@Flame Imperishable It’s honestly a fun video to watch as well, I’d recommend it to anyone who is still learning the lore.
Although it was confirmed pretty much that Nihil was the first Papa to be involved in any sort of band on behalf of the Clergy.

I would love to see a reaction/analysis video from ghost's version of " if you have ghosts". It is a cover from the great roky erickson. There is also a pretty nice acoustic version. Sorry if the english isn't 100% correct. =)
The chorus in this song is catchy as hell.

it's a fair assumption to make, though i wanted to give some context since a lot of people seem to believe the same thing
tobias says that his brand is only "hollywood satanism", that it's all for show, and i do see that with his first albums but more and more he's been shifting towards proper laveyan satanism, which is more like a philosophical framework than a religion
it's been a bit since i read the satanic bible but what i remember from the bit i did read was that morals are held above any belief in god, and that satan is basically just a symbol for individualism, wisdom and freedom rather than the biblical devil. modern satanists have whatever beliefs they want on top of this framework, it doesn't really affect their belief in deities (though some people do believe in the actual christian devil and worship him, for similar reasons to what i described)
the association with christianity comes from the fact that satanists mainly criticize the actions of the church, though they also call out christians themselves when they act immorally and use god as an excuse. besides, it being the dominant religion on earth means a lot of ex-christians with religious trauma easily gravitate towards it

Yes. Go watch the video Ghost posted yesterday. They basically made a fake documentary about themselves (like This is Spinal Tap ). It is pretty hilarious.

The Latin part translates to “the obscene Kiss”
Back in the early modern period, belief was that witches would kiss the devil's backside when they greeted him. He usually took the form of a goat, but could be a ram and other creatures. It was known as the kiss of shame. So when he's talking about how 'you've been playing around with magic that is black,' he's talking about a witch.
If you dig into the lyrics a bit though, it seems like the witch in the song is not really getting anything out of the relationship: 'it ain't always what it seems as opposed to what they told you' and 'the glitter wasn't gold." However, the witch still feels compelled and attracted to Satan or what he might give, which is where the 'but' (no pun intended) is really important: 'it ain't always there to please you, but he's the guy you wanna do.'
