- The rainy season has finally begun in the Kanto region of Japan, and the weather has become humid and smells like mold. This year, I used the black pine that I cut the buds of the other day as a cutting.

Must be some skill and luck getting cuttings to start a life on their own. I have watched several videos and repeated the steps, not having any luck at all. One day I'll have more seedlings than I know what to do with. Thank you for this video

Can this done with mature black pines also? Or better success with only younger pine.

I also would like to try cuttings next year as I have 9 Japanese Black Pines, 1 niwaki and 8 successful air layers.
