This is amazing. I love this song and hearing it as a live performance is just as good! What a voice! It's brilliant. I love how this song is featured in "(500) Days of Summer" that's how I found it. :-)
this is so great i have no words. i was there. i was. but in the very back. i didn't come early enough. i shoulda known one has to get there ridiculously early....but she's worth it. everyone was singing along way back where i was. i got a few good pics but this is fantastic being able to watch her hands. isn't her dress fetching? she is adorable and uber talented. and i must say i was THRILLED she sang this because it's what i consider THE song btw my boyfriend and me. it's OUR song!
Hey that was on my birthday, now I see her videos from that day and I realise she wanted to give me a present being most beautiful than ever... God, I've never seen her so beautiful, I want to marry her... (really)
Regina is amazingly talented and stunningly gorgeous. She will always be one of my favorite musicians. Is that the cellist who passed away? That was so sad to hear.
@MassaDayLewis I'm lucky enough to wake up and listen to this woman playing and singing on youtube :) everyone should too and feel lucky about it! hahaha!
Her Voice Is Beautiful. Anybody That Talks Bad About Her Doesn't Know What True Talent Is. No I'm not a fan. I heard her songs in a movie and I liked it.
Though I don't like labeling Regina with a specific genre, I'll have to say 'classical/punk' is my favorite. Like with this song, the piano work sounds classical. It's so flowing and heavy like something written long time ago, but then with the words & the way she sings, it also sounds modern & edgy & uniquely strange that you know the song is brand new. Her music has so much variety that you have to pick classical & punk cause their so far apart in likeness that u can maybe cover her with that.
@Windexx11 ask? ask!? how? u meetin her soon or somethin? r u just kidding? i'm getting all hyped up at just thinking you might know her. i just luv her soooo much. and yeah she is really beautiful. even when she scrunches up her face in songs to reach difficult notes and how shes always smiling when she talks....
Did you know she was a refugee who fled USSR ( Russia) ? I think this song is about refugees who are trying to escape from their natural born miserable countries with FULL OF THIEVIES.
I am surprised I havent heard of her before I heard her on a Boxxy video, with Boxxy expressing her feelings through Fidelity. Awesome talent, beautiful persona, hey, Mel Gibson, heres a Russian girl you will never touch, even though she could jump start YOUR career, lol.
@wpatterson82 what i meant is that anyone who tries to sing along with regina is going to sound awful in comparison because her voice is absolutely perfect
hmm... it's different from the album version because she made certain parts choppier (which i love, as long as i can still enjoy the old recording). What do you mean, odd?
god I can't believe how beautiful she is
how refreshing it is to discover an artist like Regina. what a breath of fresh air..
Is there anyone out there better than Regina? I've listened to a lot of great music over the years, and nothing comes close to this.

Shout out to a young Kishi Bashi on the violin.
i wish more artists these days can perform with a piano and sing some real music like regina spektor.
Just incredible! :O :D I love it!
Did she really play at the Barnes and Noble in San Francisco? That’s nuts. Hell, I was even living there when this went down.
I hope someday I can be as amazing and beautiful inside and out as she. Though, I'm not worthy of it I hope.
i am so jealous of the violinist and cellist and wish i could have been there :D
shes got talent
Perfect.
If I had witnessed this in person I would have evaporated.
wow, this is like the first video ever with so many "likes" and no "dislikes". go Regina go!!
Top drawer Regina. Top drawer.

@rowbsie I KNOW, RIGHT!? Finally, someone who knows that my daily life is like.
oh what i would do to experience this in person
Woah, 1::59 made me tear up. Powerful stuff, my brothers.
If I was told she would be at the barnes & noble near me at a random time sometime in the next 7 days, I'd camp out there all 7 :D
Gran pezzo
I would kill to see her live.

I wish there where a B&N here and she sing here xD
Did you know she was a refugee who fled USSR ( Russia) ? I think this song is about refugees who are trying to escape from their natural born miserable countries with FULL OF THIEVIES.
wow
@kidderz100...she wrote this song way before Ingrid was even out and about :-)
@DyNasty95
The Movie Is Called 500 Days Of Summer.
She's Contagio-oh oh us---
@wpatterson82 what i meant is that anyone who tries to sing along with regina is going to sound awful in comparison because her voice is absolutely perfect
@mory12341 Yes, she is Russian Jewish. She was born in Moscow and her family fled to the US when she was 9
Wuhuuuuuuuuu!
Die tausender haste :)
Open your eyes Regina!:) There too pretty to keep closed!
hmm... it's different from the album version because she made certain parts choppier (which i love, as long as i can still enjoy the old recording).
