    At 9:30; if responder doesn't have 11+hcp, what should they bid instead of 2NT?

      With fewer than 11 points, responder should not be using stayman, unless they have one of the hands where it is suitable to use it with a weak hand. So if you have a fairly balanced hand, just pass one no trump. Hope that answers your question.

    There is 6th use of Stayman... 2c-2d-3nt-4c would also be Stayman.

      Thank you John. That one does have the disadvantage of taking you past 3NT.

      @@TonyStawBridgeClass well it is a rare bid for sure but a lot of people don't know that it is Stayman aswell...also you could be looking for a "better" slam.
