The hand with west having 17pts and bidding over a weak 2 spades, why not control bid 3spades to show a strong hand and a heart fit?

All your examples are with overcalling in the Direct seat. What do you do in the Passout or Balancing seat after your Partner passes?

thank you! when is the correct bid a cue bid (e.g. 2D-3D)?

I suppose you could play that a cue bid of the opponent's opening Weak Two is something like a Michael's cue bid showing both majors, but I have not really come across this.

3H is enough if you are playing Lebensohl...You can bid 2NT with a weak hand of 0-7 points and bid 3H with over his forced bid of 3C. Which means that here you can bid an invitational 3H , which partner can just about raise to 4H.
